i just now realized that the crow {the idea not the movie} would make a great game. the story is already their for the picking, your a undead revenant, with a crow familiar, and memory loss{just now realized this is also how you can play the crow in dnd, just need a way of the undying and magic initiate mage to beable to see through your crows eyes and resummon him} . the entire tutorial is you digging your self out of your grave, and learning how you died with the touch machinic allowing you to watch your own memories by touching items that once belonged to you, along with a fear based combat system were it is not about killing the bosses but doing so in such a way that no one will ever do what they did again, or have to pick between helping people and becoming more human and vulnerable but having a more miracle based powers, or seeking vengeance and becoming stronger and more unstoppable.
@@dish8432 the thing is we don't need a large AAA company or even a shit ton of money. just enough for the rights to the crow video game, some early 90's late 80's cure/nine inch nails music, and about ten or so people to work on the game an an ai art generator to help with the concept art.
Good soundtrack too I recall listening to this on a discman 20 years ago now I just have this mini computer and wi fi to walk around and do the same thing.
Hey, i made a tribute about the Crow, i tried to match song and cutscene in the best way i could. I know its sound kinda lame but if you have time check it out and let me know your thoughts! ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-Lg6NI1-x3bU.html
I remember being so blown away by the film I walked straight outta the cinema and into the nearest music store and bought the soundtrack. They don’t make ‘em like this anymore.
That guitar CAWS at each crescendo like the titular Crow, underscoring the Revenant's grueling climb to vengeance with a harsh, mocking counterpoint. When a director lets the music and the action in his story be EQUAL partners, the synergy is magical.
This song has so much meaning, All this pain we hold onto in our lives is an illusion, every time we identify as the “past” or thoughts about the “past” we limit ourselves from the now. Every time we repress the emotions we feel whenever we think about something from the past and we identify as that thought or as the past and call it “me”, we subconsciously create a pattern of identifying as that pain. The only way to move on is to forgive yourself or whoever and to fully feel the emotions that come up when you have that thought about the past, sit with it and really identify with it, and then let it go. Realize you are not the past, you are not the thoughts, you are not the ego. We are not what we consider our personalities, we are far more infinite. See everything in the universe as energy and start observing the thought patterns and the world around you and things may start to change.. Attachment is the root of all suffering.. One love,

Love this film and soundtrack. Nine inch nails have done this cover so much justice. It's like a totally different song, but doesn't disrespect it in anyway. Takes me back to being 16 again ❤️

I was just thinking what incredible talent that we lost with Brandon Lee. Imagine all the awesome roles and movies we could've had. And I think he was killed on this movie set? RIP 💕
He was most unfortunately killed on this very set. I just watched a piece on what can only be described as the utter weirdness of how it played out, to Brandon's detriment, most of all. And I completely agree. It wasn't just how phenomenal he was delivering the physical performance, which he was, but he did a hell of a job in acting out that pain. And the deliciousness of revenge.

I agree I feel they tuned it so beautiful so you hear everything as in jd it's very grungy in the sense that it's not over the top mastered as this on you can hear every riff baseline and drum and key point vocals beautiful from jd and nin

The Gods keep Brandon safe always. He's dearly missed. So is his dad. I miss them both........😢 R.I.P. Brandon and Bruce. Love you guys. Thanks NIN. Great job 👍!
That would've been fucking awesome probably right in the nineties they both were wanting to go to differ types of acting well Brandon did like river Phoenix man the tragedies happened before they peaked their career's
I remember sneaking in between movies at the cinema to watch this due to being under age. I was caught by the ushers do many times that they just started letting me buy the tickets at the box and telling me enjoy the show. Thank you whoever you were.
One of my best films of all time. Speaks to me on so many levels. Was listening to this song yesterday but never realised it was a cover version, one of the best songs on the soundtrack.
Sure if you made a Szene with a gun be sure that the Bullets are out.By the way the song is from Joy Division had nothing to do with the Film The Crow!
This is my all time favorite movie and my favorite soundtrack. The Crow opened the door for many writers/directors to blend darker themed stories with a wide variety of some really great fkn music. Brandon Lee was The Crow and the rest of the cast did an exceptional job acting ….Great story, superb directing. We all get together here the night before Halloween and watch it.....Best Movie EVER !

Listening to Joy Division made me come here. It is amazing how relevant JD's music is even till this day. Remembering Ian Curtis...Briliiant cover btw!
One of my favorite movies and albums. Timeless to me. I plan on watching all of the movies and listening to all the albums this holiday season. Hmmm, I think I will call it my Dark Holiday Season and decorate accordingly. I need a Morticia dress, too, hehe!
Someone take these dreams away That point me to another day A dual personality A strange but true reality They keep calling me Keep on calling me They keep calling me Figures from the past stand tall And mocking voices ring above Imperialistic house of prayer Conquistadors who took their share They keep calling me Keep on calling me They keep calling me
