@@phineasgage8252 yeah, this singer used to be in Nine Inch Nails, he got paid horribly and brought it up with Trent, which Trent replied "well hey there's a pizza shop needing drivers down the street" so this singer, Patrick, left the band and made Filter and released this banger
@@VuotoPneumaNNtrue but with Trent and Atticus at the helm and if you just had Richard contributing guitar it could be cool. Considering he started out as the touring guitarist with Trent
@@d3athr0ck3r I don't know. They never actually made music together. Rich wanted to contribute more to NIN's music but Trent wasn't at all interested in his ideas. He suggested he take up pizza delivery to make a few extra bucks. That's why Richard ultimately left the band. I can't imagine either of them being interested in working together now.
@@El-Gucher he contributed next to nothing though. His one credit was for a guitar noise on PHM, that's really all. In fact part of the reason he left was because Trent *didn't* let him do much.
Best audio I've found online so far...Not an easy song to record live...it's a little like going to protestant church...Minister be all "*quiet quiet wssp wssp* and then out of nowhere...HEEEEEEYYYYY MAAAAAN, REEEEEEPEENT!!!!!!!!!." Little kid me be all like "Yo, shut the fuck up, or get WOW, make up yer mind. Also, say it don't spray it! Just glad nobody recording live for RU-vid up in here". In an alternate universe, I went to a church as a kid that just played "Hey Man, Nice Shot" on repeat for 2 hrs every Sunday" That would have been cool. Cheers to uploader. I'll subscribe. Peep my Pigface upload, and consider reciprocating subs. Quid Quo Pro, nineinchnailsmusic...
This was amazing to see live. My soul left my body for a moment. Got to see it with my husband and dad, my two favorite people and huge NIN/Filter fans ❤
I think they were more-or-less always friends. Even Trent famously telling him to "get off his ass & make an album" is kinda just saying 'I know you can do better.' & creating Filter was a huge success. But for sure I think they're closer than say 10 or 20 years ago.
