@Endlesswinterrr
It’s nice of bill to let middle school kids on his podcast
@terry7907
Simmons continued panic that the Patriots will fail in getting a quarterback in this draft is hilarious.
@daddokewl4235
I really enjoy Solak. Simmons really has a knack for identifying young guys with talent.
@iandaley2295
I dunno, I am disappointed that Simmons couldn't make this into a draft.

Four things that all young QB’s need to be successful: 1) Good offensive coordinator / play caller. Think Mahomes with Andy Reid in KC or Brock Purdy with Kyle Shanahan in San Francisco. 2) Good play makers on offense. When Mahomes became starter in KC he had hall of fame talent at TE (Travis Kelce) and WR ( Tyrek Hill) 3) Good offensive line. Most QB’s that get sacked and hit too much lose confidence and usually develop bad habits like running too soon or throwing the ball too soon. 4) Stable organization around him. Bryce Young gets drafted # 1 by Carolina last year. His head coach Frank Reich gets fired after 10 games, he has no play makers on offense, no running game and a bad offensive line in front of him. Terrible situation for any QB but especially bad for a young QB.

Dude doesn’t know what “cross the rubicon” means. It means past the point of no return, not break through to the other side.

Daniels was better at ASU than he's given credit for. He was 10x better than Pickett was at the same stages. Daniels repeatedly gets to backside digs and 3rd reads on tape as well. But you don't there often when you have a squadron of freak WRs roasting their DB off the line on fades every play.

Had me up until mocking minshew for his accuracy and saying you would rather have a qb that can run fast. Utterly false. There is a reason minshee will have a 12 year career. I can't believe I have to say this but accuracy is important for a qb

Because college football doesn't prepare players for the NFL...
@noahthomas3
Bill is very smart, you see the narrative he is trying to relay by saying nothing positive about Jayden or Caleb. The only one he has anything positive to say about is Drake. Which makes me think that the Patriots are going to take Maye, but if I had to bet money he is going to be the worst QB out of the top 3. Daniels and Williams won Heismans for a reason.

Maybe because the top picks end up on the weakest teams courtesy of the draft system?
@Primenumber19
Injuries, improper evaluation either mentally or physically, poor situation. That’s it. Those are the reasons.
@mcaluag
Insightful and entertaining
@joeo5484
“Curtis Ponder” is amazing
@blessembreaks
Qb picks hit 40% of the time. It might be even lower if we’re talking 1st rd picks
@MichaelMartin-qe5ye
Steve Walsh was picked in the supplemental draft, per Wikipedia:

The Jered Goff hate is unreal. You don't need to be a good athlete to be a good QB. You can totally compensate with reading the defense, making quick decisions, and having a quick release. Brady and Manning were ALWAYS in the lower-half of the league when it comes to QB Athleticism. Are you telling me they wouldn't still be balling out? Jered Goff is the same story. He's not a great athlete, but he's extremely accurate, great at reading defenses, and he makes quick decisions. He would be good in nearly any situation.
@bigtimetom4208
I think New England would be better off building a team before drafting a QB, but that's probably not going to happen, good luck to the QB they draft
@hunterking6033
UNC has the best RB for next season. But him and Walker were it. The OC was a MASSIVE downgrade.
