Amazingly enough he's fine. He has a tiny bit of road rash on his hand but the glove rubbed on the ground for a long time so that's 100% acceptable in all of our books. The bike isn't bad at all. The front brake warped and locked the front. He's a young rider so he still bounces.
Yeah, thankfully that's not me. It's my son's buddy who's dad also does track days with us. It's great to have a father and son duo group of riders. He only has a bit of road rash on the pad of his hand. Pretty small injury considering the abuse his glove and hand took. His foot was a little sore yesterday but other than that he's fine. The gear did his job. This was over 100mph. Overheated the brakes and when he braked for turn 1 the front locked and his kept it up for about 100 feet according to my insta360 footage. Then boom. The other video I posted has a slow motion at the end and damn he went for a ride.
