I can't express how excited I was to perfect this method and cook the perfect whole roast chicken. I tried many other ways but this produces soft succulent meat which is tender and skin that is beautifully crisp. It doesn't t even take long in the Ninja Foodi 15 in 1

I'd bought a chicken to steam roast in my Ninja, and before I did it I had a look around RU-vid - as you do - to see if anyone had done it before. I came across your video, watched it, and did what you did. It should come as no surprise that I got the same result 🙂 The chicken was succulent and tender, the skin was crispy and delicious, and best of all I put the juices from the pan in my gravy - it was amazing. Thank you for taking the time to post your video.

Hi. Thanks for watching. From cooking and testing out other methods I was pretty sure this amount of time would work and it was perfect!! I always cook a larger chicken as I like leftovers to make a pie/salads/pasta etc so I couldn’t be sure on a smaller bird. You may have to reduce and check it. I know a lot of people use the probe.

@user-yo7vd4dx5y
@user-yo7vd4dx5y 8 месяцев назад
Yes it has the steam function. It's a 15 in 1 but with the two separate lids. Maybe steam it and then switch to air fry but I wonder how long for each.
@susannahskitchen
@susannahskitchen 8 месяцев назад
@@user-yo7vd4dx5y I see what you mean. I would imagine it’s mainly steamed and just air fried to crisp up the skin. Maybe 45 min steam and 10 min air fry. I think it will be trial and error
@nik4167
@nik4167 7 месяцев назад
I used the Ninja Foodi with two lids to pressure cook then air fry the chicken. Gives the same result. Moist with crispy skin. I got fed up with having to change the lids so I bought the Ninja Foodi 15. It is still boxed as kitchen is being refitted but can’t wait to try your recipe. May I suggest you use the rack rather than the basket? I found this easier to get the chicken out, I kept pulling the legs off by mistake it was so soft! 😂. Also I cut the popes nose off to make more room in the old Ninja. Thanks for all your videos, good job I have insomnia! I will be trying your Biscoff fudge later today. 😊

I think treat it like a chicken and use the probe to help you get the cooking time right and hopefully not dry turkey! Either steam roast or steam air fry should be good. That’s what I’d do. I know you can Air Fry but I think it will be more moist by using steam. Merry Christmas
