Looks excellent! If you don’t mind a bit of wheat in your wrap, Woollies now have a low carb wrap available, 5 in a pack for $5.00 It’s Woollies brand, orange and grey packaging and is just called 65% Lower Carb Soft Wrap. I think there are two different versions. Each wrap is 5.6g of carbs compared to 18+g usually for a normal wrap. It’s not the cleanest ingredients, lots of grain content but it is an easy option if you are in a hurry or really want a wrap kinda thing. Wish I could post a pic for you. They are located in the “long life” bread section of Woollies, where the other wraps are but usually on the lower shelves. Thanks for sharing your great idea. 🌸🌸

That’s fantastic feedback Klara, definitely look for that product. I bought the El Paso ones when we were travelling. They have an expiry date in November, don’t think they could be that healthy with that much preservative in it. Anyway I want to use up some bits and pieces so I used them, the Foodi did a great job of crisping the base and cooking the fillings at the same time. One was enough for a meal and I thought it was pretty tasty and easy to eat. I’m a big fan of a a thin and crispy crust so it really suited me. I’ve never been fond of deep pan pizza bases, finding the ‘bread’ layer too heavy. I also tried this recipe with the mountain square bread a while back and it worked well but the shape wasn’t as easy to use in a round cooking vessel. Thanks for another great and very informative tip. I’m sure our audience will find it most helpful also and thank you for watching.;-))

Thanks Zendukai, it’s the pressure cooker that Airfries, a nice big capacity, for family sized meals, it’s pretty big but I’ve had it for a couple of years now and it’s never seen inside a cupboard, I use it just about everyday, when I’m home. Glad you like this idea thanks for watching. Hope you’re having a great weekend.;-))

Cheekyricho, it's my preferred method for pizzarettes.. I use the mini Lebanese bread or the Aldi wholemeal mini wraps as bases. One thing is the bottom doesn't crisp up, so I pop the cooked pizza into a lightly oiled frying pan for a minute or two to crisp up. A 20cm willow round cake pan fits the rack and or the pot perfectly. So if you get wrap bases slightly bigger than the pan you can make a deeper style of pizza, say with eggs. I made one last night for breakfast this morning, egg, cheese, garlic, onion, paprika spice mix, oregano. I put the pan directly into the pot and used bake function 200 around 11 minutes, then 2 in the oiled frying pan to crisp. Ninja foodi is such a great kitchen appliance. I cooked my Chiko Roll in it the other day. Thanks for another inspiring method and recipe. 👍👍🤤

Thank you for that great feedback John. I also use the Lebanese bread in my Pizza New wave oven. I put them into a pizza tray first and not straight into the stone are. Mss as he’s it easier to get a production line going when I’m feeding a few people. I’ll have to keep my eye out for the whole meal mini wraps, they sound perfect for job. Are they easy to get out of the deeper willow pan? I put these wraps straight into the rack that cam with the Foodi, on the lowest setting and by the time the toppings are all cooked and ready the base is nice snd crisp and I can pick it up to eat it once it’s cool enough to cut and lift. I worked in a Pizza restaurant once and they even named a pizza after me. It was Bacon egg, mushroom and onion sprinkled with dry chilli flakes. If I’m make a a pizza just for myself, that’s the one I make, still my favourite. Can’t beat the old supreme either with anchovies, whole kalamata olives (not the little sliced black Spanish ones) vegetables and a representative from every animal in the farm yard lol. We make a cowboy breakfast pizza too, that keeps you going all day. I love my Ninja Foodi, it’s always on the bench ready for action, doesn’t overheat the kitchen, rarely needs preheating and since using it I haven’t had to clean my big oven. It’s pyrolytic but still the Foodi made a fabulous job of the crackling on our roast pork last night, with all the trimmings. I even threw in a cored apple cut in half, roasted in its skin, instead of making apple sauce. I hear they now have a crisping lid for the Tefal Cook4 me. Fits all models and can turn the Cook4 me into an Airfryer like the Foodi. My viewers have been asking me to get one to try it. I wonder have you heard of those or seen them in your travels? You seem to have your finger on the pulse of all things gadget and food trending. Hope you are having a relaxing weekend and staying safe and well.;-)) Thanks for watching😋

@@CheekysKitchen I haven't seen or heard of this Tefal C4Me cooking device option. Kitchen Warehouse may have it as they sell everything Tefal. Check the Tefal website. I find any wrap used as a base that fits the cake pan easy enough to remove by tilting and let it slide out like an Omelette. As long as the wrap is bigger and can come up the side about a cm of the pans edge, all should work. You could even use a yoghurt and SR flour base if you like and cook accordingly. What about a Keto pizza base?? See RU-vid. 😀 I've just had a few Gin infused strawberries and the liquor in a cocktail. Mmm all warm and fuzzy now... 😌

Pizzarettes haha, what a cute name. Yes, while we are in lockdown, looks like I’ll have plenty of time to do research and cook of course. I also have a good guys voucher to use, they didn’t have any in stock last time I checked though. Oh well I’ll find it somewhere on line I guess. Thanks for the suggestion.;-)) Love the sound of of your strawberry ‘daiquiri’ Sounds healthy with the low carb strawberries full of vitamin c 🤪
