all of us may different opinions about the game BUT whether the game is great or it sucks, there is one thing most if not all of us would agree: RYU HAYABUSA IS ONE EPIC BADASS HERO NINJA.
I've had this Ninja Aesthetic during my teen years when I was introduced to the lifestyle of Martial Arts(Technically I'm basic), but when I started playing DOA, it was mainly for the gameplay and fanservice. But when I touched Razor's Edge?? Man, Hayabusa was my role model. I started getting into the lore and the series and haven't stopped since. Side note: I share the same birthday as Hayabusa himself! I'll be 25 this year 😊
The thing I like best in this theme is where it plays in the story. It gives you that sense of Ryu being a true hero and his journey being far from over.
When I first heard this Main Menu Theme, I was playing a mere Demo. From that moment of hearing it, I wanted to own the game fully. The gameplay is epic, and I finally was able to get my wish when I got it for the Wii-U, nonetheless, the Razor's Edge edition. Unfortunately, I don't have Sigma 2, but I do have Sigma 1, so I guess there's that. While the only Ninja Gaiden I've ever completed in my life was Dragon Sword, I still do, to this very day believe that Ryu is the best Ninja ever in my opinion. I'm not big on Stealth because that DOES require HIGH AMOUNTS of patience and concentration, of which I only can give so much of, there are times when it's needed, and for the most part, it really isn't. Therefore, I like the way Ryu's style of being a Ninja is, compared to most others. lol
I'm owning Razor's Edge on my WiiU and when this song started playing at the title screen I was like "Ok, I can take the time to listen to that." God damn, that's such a great theme song. Maybe obe of the best ever made!
Shaf Hoque 😭 so beautiful....great game and good new characters. Whether you like this game or not, you can't deny that this is the best version and character development of Ryu Hayabusa. He still might be a merciless, cold, and calculating killer....but he's also kind, gentle, humble, courages, determined, and caring of others. He's not good or evil.
JackTheGamer 331 yeah he did and that live action crap. But the anime film is connected to the nes games. They say that Ng has mutliple universes which the most noticeable ones are NG which started on xbox aka the mian verse, Sigma which you can play all the female characters, and the nes ports is the 3rd. The ryu is from the xbox ports is now considered the main universe.
Ryu revealed his face to Canna the first time they met to be more friendly and approachable since she's just a little girl and he didn't want to scare her.
The hardest game I have ever platinumed, but it was so worth it. Also this is one of the best menu music of any video game I have ever played, so cool.
Vondad2004 With the same amazing voice of Troy Baker from NG3: Razor's Edge. This game really made Ryu a more relatable and three dimensional character. If they do make a new one I hope they use the same characterization and personality as this one. I want to see more of the Best Gaming Ninja and his awesome moves!!!
There's 2 reasons why I suddenly started watching ninja Gaiden Music and Gameplays. 1.- Nostalgia 2.- Leaks are pointing that Ryu Hayabusa might come to Super Smash Bros Ultimate as DLC.
"Smash leaks" mean nothing because of the quantity of frauds, but he would be the best Koei Tecmo"representative IMO. (Ryu is Capcom, Cloud for Sqaure, ect.)
Ninja gaiden was hinted at to return 2019 the team ninja just said to look forward to exciting 2019 releases with ryu's picture but nothing is officially confirmed yet but ryu is the face of team ninja so it's definitely coming back
I really hope he ends up the last fighter for the Fighters Pass, otherwise, we'll have to wait longer and it's a mystery how many more dlc fighters will come after it. Koei Tecmo is long due for a rep.

FUCK YEEEEE, finally someone loop'd this shit. Too bad this game was a dissapointment so i wanted to trade this one for sigma 2 but couldn't cuz i couldn't find a long version of this theme anywere, so i needed to start my console and turn volume of my tv to MAX to listen this piece of art. But that wouldnt be a pro anymore, good job uploader. Its dowloading time for me ^^
When this played at the end of the game, I just wanted to cry for some reason. Maybe it's cuz I suffered through this game's difficulty lol but it was worth it and a surprisingly happy ending :)
GranblueMaiden yeah the end scene where Ryu jumps off the rooftop and we see his face, I cried knowing right now Ninja Gaiden is dead but I then cried in joy knowing Ryu shall return and I enjoyed the music
Some guy in a Dissidia NT: Final Fantasy video said this theme was similar to its Character Select theme. He was right. And I'm so glad to have been able to listen to this.

Some games have soundtracks and other games have master pieces, A Hero Unmasked is one of the best songs a heard from a game,Ninja Gaiden is more than a game ia a fuckin legacy
Even with the remake that was named razor's edge i still couldn't get myself into the game as much as i wanted to like ninja gaiden 2/sigma 2. The only turn off of 3 was that they threw the healing items out the window, so everytime i would play this game i wouldn't joke around..even though i really wanted to in order to use all of my skills If that made sense lol
Give this back to Tomonobu Itagaki along Dead or Alive. His game was the best Tecmo games out there and they all sold over a million copies faster than this new guy Yosuke who was a disciple of him and disrespected him soon after Itagaki left the company. Ninja Gaiden 3 combat was kinda good but it take a very big ass step back of the series. We thought Ryu was going to transform in the game but ir did not happen. The past games mentioned that Hyabusa bloodline are not humans and are related to the Dragon Gods. If he is not an ordinary human then make him transform and make an actual game that plays like an open world like NG1.

NEO Nate but Yoskue did disrespect him first after he left, he said that his games was boring he didn't know how to build a proper and thats why mostly all the vets left with him. And look at all Yosuke games ngz suck balls even tho it had help with the legendary megaman & dead rising creator Kenji Infunae, Ninja gaiden sigma 2 is okay but should be dlc and its too easy to be ng, Ng 3 this dude lied to us talking about you will able to find weapons through out the game and later said that it will be included in paid dlc to gain sales. Ng 3 razor edge fixes the combat but should be part 3 in the 1st place with the open world from the 1st. The only game that i really like was the 1st sigma game which had the option to move the camera. I got nearly all the ng games and played nearly all of them including the snes games. But his games have its moments but are not that good.
I don't like the part where this mysterious villain put the Dragon Sword into Ryu Hayabusa's Right Arm. It stinks that Ryu recovered it in the end. However this Adventure of the Young Badass Legendary Ninja, Ryu Hayabusa, is still exciting. Long Live Ryu Hayabusa, the descendant of the ninja clan born from the Dragon Lineage.
I wish Microsoft buy the rights for both DoA and Ninja Gaiden along with some other franchises like Dino Crisis,Onimusha,Dead rising,Lost Planet,Left4Dead,etc because most of these devs just leave the series to rot after one game or 2 or give it to crappy disrespectful successor that violates what made the games great . Itagaki was the best successor to revive the Ng series and created Dead Or Alive series after the original creator Hideo Yoshizawa of the NES games.
@@mareo187 I also say it should go to Sony, since Team Ninja already has good IPs with Sony (Nioh, which actually has an ancient Hayabusa as a DLC boss battle) and for the obvious reason that it's a Japanese studio
Sigma one was good but the rest was not even a challenge and razor edge is just dlc that supposed to be 3 in the first place. And dont get me started with Ninja Gaiden Z.Itagaki buy the Ng and Dead or alive or Microsoft buys them so Itagaki can make actual sequels for them.
DMasterpokemon95 i played it and its impossible but the core fans who play that game either play in the easy/normal or the 3rd difficulty. Without the ability to consume health its unplayable. The combat for ng3 r is great but the game as a whole is a abomination just like Ninja gaiden 3 and Yaiba. Sigma 2 was ok but was a dumb downed easy pg13 2 with extra weapons and a coop mode.
DMasterpokemon95 oh the past games no the only highest difficulty i beaten was the mode before master ninja on sigma 1, i beaten doku in the 2nd chapter which i unlocked it, but later I tried it and quit and that was sometime after i beaten Ng2 3rd difficulty. I haven't played a hard game after that until dark souls 1 became free gold game and later the 2, Bloodborne came out and dk 3
Mario sanon Wow that's impressive. I bought Ninja Gaiden Sigma 1 back from GameStop last week because my stepfather sold the game trying to get Ninja Gaiden 3 which was years ago. (I pissed at him for a while)
