Ninja Gaiden Sigma played on Master Ninja difficulty! This is the highest and hardest setting available for play. This guide features 19 videos corresponding to the number of chapters in the game. For those interested in the technical specifications of these videos, the resolution is set to 1440x1080 (full HD) and the rendered Frames Per Second (fps) is set to 60fps to ensure the highest quality and the most authentic representation of the game's native resolution and frame rate.
All Golden Scarabs, Life of the Gods, and Lives of the Thousand Gods are collected. Also, all important events (item pickups, fiend challenges, boss battles, etc.) will be linked to time codes that you can use to "jump" to whatever part of the video you need to.

Speaking from personal experience, the first two missions are absolute hell on Master Ninja mode with such a small life bar and a crap moveset, but if you can get past them the rest of the game is, IMHO, not too bad.. After I hit Mission 3 the difficulty started tapering off a bit, especially when you can reliably farm essence in Missions 7 and 8 off the zombies and not have to worry about going broke from mass chugging elixirs. And then Alma has a mouth full for you. I swear, minions were the worst addition Black made to boss battles. You may as well put a big neon sign in front of every boss that says "Fuck you."

I've heard the same about Very Hard. It just becomes an entirely different game when you can't reliably block. You have to be cheap until you can actually face enemies that slaughter you with just your VERY basic moveset.

Trust me, man, I will be doing exactly that. I have a lot of stuff planned planned for NGB--the only thing that will be holding me up is doing all the unlocking. To play on MN mode I have to beat the game 3 times.

I'm playing NGB now. A guide will be forthcoming on Master Ninja difficulty, but it will be a while before the guide is published, as I'm only on Normal and must unlock the higher difficulties one after the next. The change from Sigma 1 and NGB that the camera works better on sigma1. on black you can't change the x axis, which sucks but it's still a great title.

Yeah, it is a very difficult game to be able to pull it off! Especially on Master Ninja Difficulty, it is very hard but also fun. The game is easy for me, I love this game!.. The first stage is the hardest but it gets easier after the first chapter.

@iraqoz1 Thanks man. Don't throw your stuff away--we all have to start somewhere. I listed the settings in the description but I render these via Sony Vegas, Quality VBR (90%), 1440x1080, 60fps, 1.3333 Pixel Aspect Ratio (HD). Hope that helps. I do flee from the option battles in Ch. 1 because the level is unfair. I do all the Ryu fiend Challenges save for the 120 Knightmares. If you can tell me a good way to beat that I will attempt it but its totally insane IMO. Best man!

WOOW this has to be the BEST HD-setting I have seen in youtube. Now I wanna throw my SD-videos in the garbage T_T. Can you please tell me which setting do you use to get this quality ?. Another thing why do you run from some fights ?? come on man you can do it dont run and do all fiend challenges :)

Having fought them in NG Black's Missions Mode, I'll take those red Ninjas over those Windmill Ninjas in Very Hard mode any day! I hope I can actually make it to Master Ninja someday - can't even beat the first level on Very Hard.

U don’t have to wall strike to defeat murai all the time the actual safest way is attack murai 2-3 in his roll animation and moving u can trigger him to roll to u by throwing ninja stars. As for the red ninja just do x y x ninja star command and y down it usually kills em if not stab em u get invincibility for a sec during its execution

i am here because when i finished hard mode i was so happy that i finaly unlocked the final skin then i fucking realised there was a very hard mode and when i tried i rage quited before the checkpoint that shit was so hard

i have no idea how this is master dificulty,im playing the remastered on ps5 and on hard mode, the black ninjas before the boss have like 3 times the speed of what i see here and they all have air combos,like Ryu the one you do in the air when you jump atack with square to grab an enemie. I cant even do 1 wall jump atack without geting ganged by all 3 at the same time. Whatever they did with the remastered,it feels broken.

Great, i did complete it on first and second difficulty, the one after that i dont think i finished the first boss, might have been the second that was too much actually. Best fighting game i played. But this is a fourth difficulty or?

+claudine bourget Well their are no trophies for Ninja gaiden sigma and to get the platinum trophy for Sigma 2 is the hardest plat of all on PS3. Don't even get me started on the ultimate ninja missions with a retarded AI or waiting for hours for some random to get on then have him join and he's worse than the AI, they really should of made a solo mode for the missions. For that reason alone I doubt you'll get the plat but good luck!

Hard to say, as one is a non linear adventure and the other is a linear straight up action driven hack and slash title. Just depends on what I'm in the mood for in suppose. One thing is sure: they're both masterpieces. Regards bro.

Did you succeed to get platinum on this game, and MN ranking all chapters in MN difficulty ? If I understand to get these ranks its mandatory to finish all ambushes in chapters which include it, and mandatory too, not to die even once on all chapters to obtaine these MN ranks ? ...

The worst part of this boss is dealing with Ryu aiming at the enemy half way across the room when a ninja is right beside him. The lock on mechanics of this game are atrocious.

Well hey, I'm sorry if my gameplay isn't manly enough for you. Shall I stop everything I'm doing and re-record the entire guide? I'm currently suffering from some medical problems, but I could reschedule all of my appointments, work through lunch every day to make a less cowardly walkthrough. Would that be alright? As it is, I earn about ten dollars a month on this channel, so what exactly would my motivation be, though? The guide was intended to help struggling players beat the game.
