DX Muteki Shogun! DX 無敵将軍!
Oh wow...if there was an award for the most imtimidating mecha ever...Muteki Shogun wins, hands down. I mean...just look at it. Damn.
Muteki Shogun is the primary mecha from Kakuranger. It is the first mecha to consist of five humanoid figures to combine into one larger one. Each of these Kyodai Jusho (巨大獣将) are merely shells that the Kakuranger transform into (they don't pilot these mecha). This is a new idea as mecha have traditionally been piloted robots and, more recently, creatures.
The five pieces of Muteki Shogun are...

Each mecha has their own weapon. In order, they are...

5. ガンマーボウ
Along with those weapons is Muteki Shogun's finishing sword, the Kaen Shogun Ken (火炎将軍剣) which is kind of hard to make a toy version of since it's typically on fire.
Later in the series Muteki Shogun had the ability to combine with Tsubasamaru (聖忍獣翼丸) to become Super Muteki Shogun (ス－パ－無敵将軍).
This toy did get an American release for Mighty Morphin' Power Rangers as the Shogun Megazord...but let me tell you...avoid it at all costs. The changes are small, but the stuff they did change makes it worlds different from Muteki Shogun. For starters...White Kark became the Pink Shogunzord. How?? Well...Bandai America decided they wanted to give the Pink Ranger her own zord I guess (since the White Ranger could easily take Tsubasamaru). This resulted in a horribly off-colored left arm. From there, the chrome was replaced with dull gold plastic (including the sword), the stickers on the shoulders were replaced with generic Power Rangers Lightning Bolts, and the Shinobi chest plate was replaced with an S...or is it a Lightning bolt? Truth is, nobody cares. Don't waste your time with Shogun Megazord...get yourself a Muteki Shogun!
