If golden power ever did return it deserves a better showing because Lloyd barely did anything cool with it other then using it to pacify those Robots in Rebooted, creating that Golden ice bridge or whatever and the Golden Dragon itself. Seriously at the bare minimum the animator’s could have at least made Lloyd’s Energy Attacks yellow or gold. The Overlord made better use of Lloyd’s Golden Power, HIS ENEMIES power better then Lloyd ever did

i agree normal ninja powers seem more used and stronger compared to say when lloyd even had golden power like golden power is meant to be op but in shows seems weaker when used by lloyd.

To be honest, I'm not that interested in Golden Power. It would be much more interesting to me if there was a return of the forces of Creation and Destruction. At least Creations. We have never seen the power of Creation in battle, although it is such a powerful essence that it is the reason Dragons have been fighting the Oni for hundreds of thousands of years or more. We still don’t understand how Creation visually creates objects, life, and how it hurts enemies. We don't even know her normal abilities. If I were an animator or director for a season of Ninjago, I would have depicted Creation pretty well, but I am neither an animator nor director, so we are waiting for this initiative from the Lego writers

If Golden Power does end up returning in some way, my main hope is that it means revisiting the Temple of Light, after 10 years and 15 seasons. Also- does anyone else think the Overlord extracting Golden Power in the chambers in Rebooted seems visually similar to Arin's Spinjitzu?

I love Lloyd's Golden Power before he lost it in Season 3 of NinjaGO: Masters of Spinjitzu. I'd like to see Lloyd's Golden Power again.

I could see them tying golden power to the source dragons. They did state all elemental powers come from source dragons. So we could at least see more of an origin of the golden power more as a cameo/Easter egg. But definitely not something any time soon

One issue with that golden power just not an ordinary elemental power to achieve golden power. The element of creation has to be fused together. That’s what we saw during the temple of light the ninjas had to bestowed their elemental powers onto Lloyd to unlock golden power. So no one source dragon can’t actually hold golden power because it requires the elements of creation to be combined for it to happen

@@brickdragon7131This is silly. The Source Dragons literally created the Elemental Powers. Moreover, they had already combined all their forces and created various artifacts (dragon cores). I don't see any problem where Source Dragons couldn't have Golden Power tbh

@@Cruzhok if you look at what the show has shown us and when golden power was introduced the only way to unlock it is when the four elements creation are united as one since it’s clear than none of the seven wheeled the four elements as one none of them can use gold power and also we don’t know if source dragons can create new elemental powers we only know the powers originates from them. There’s a difference.

I don’t think golden power is ever gonna return or at least how it originally was. The entire reason they got rid of Lloyd’s golden in the first place was because it literally made him a god and he was just way to overpowered

Well think of it this way. Lloyd has powers passed down from his father the elemental master or conduit of destruction. Who’s brother is the elemental master or conduit of creation. There father had the abilities all under him. Thinking like this we can assume that these powers might not be passed by blood or/ and give them a link to eachother. The golden power is very similiar to what master wu could. We haven’t seen it much but he can make Miny realities. And garmadon could could do one magic which Lloyd can do. Lloyd is a very special “conduit”. Which should bond him to the golden power and many others. Realistically he isn’t restricted to them it’s just that it’s to op for the show. Not just golden power but true potential, forbidden spinjitzu, oni form. This may always apply for the show

I feel like Lloyd should be able to tap into golden power again. He first lost it when he gave the other ninja there elements but later it was revealed the ninja were born with there powers. And at the end of Crystalized the ninja gave back there powers to Lloyd but they got them back because they were born with the powers originally so technically that power Lloyd gave away was given back so on some sort of level Lloyd had that golden power back

Honestly I feel like the show should explore his oni and dragon sides. Instead of summarizing it as golden power, have him master both individually and use them together to achieve golden power level, but on a fundemental level it's still just him using both of these together. I am thinking a lot about Lloyd's oni power, and... why not make it so that the only way to bring Kai back is an ancient oni spell, powerful enough to rip a hole in reality into nether space without the blood moon? And Lloyd will have to slowly come to terms with the fact that he has this power and must use it if necessary. Then we can have a cool scene where opening the portal makes him go into oni form. Dragons Rising is seemingly trying to build up the magic system, if the forbidden five can have their own magic type then I'm certain oni do to, probably was what Mystake was doing retroactively in season 9 with the deception smoke screen.

Here’s a Random Ninjago Fact: you can combine the Monkie Kid City Sets with the Tournament Temple City I’ve tested it out and it works don’t know if they was intentional but I think it’s worth talking about in a short of video 👌

i feel like golden power will come later but i feel like it might have something to do with that spirit of wu in dragons rising and maybe that spirit of wu and lloyd could merge and give lloyd and the rest of the ninja enough power to win a final battle because we don't know a lot about that spirit of wu but if i'm right it does look gold so maybe or maybe not but we have to see more of wus spirit i feel like its important to the story itself more important than we right now believe

It’s still kinda vague about that I mean overloard takes his power for him but he exploded with the power we see he seem to have lose it since he riencarned so seem like this power quited earth but they also say a power is never losed it end up come back stronger so now nobody posses it there is a possibility that it will come back if Lloyd desire to have it back

I think it would be cool if Arin got a version of the golden powers down the line. As when Lloyd got them he called himself the ultimate SpinJitzu master. I know that’s not how golden powers work and they are tied to Lloyd. But if Arin has no elemental power and can focus solely on his SpinJitzu abilities then he should in theory one day become the next ultimate SpinJitzu master and unlock a variant of the golden powers Lloyd got.

I’m not gonna lie I actually expected the golden power to return crystalized, the sets and some « no power is truly lost » lines misled me to think that, especially with the golden oni Lloyd figure. I just thought he was gonna have his golden powers back and combine them with the oni ones to kill the overlord permanently. Now that it didn’t happen, and that Lloyd has the source dragon energy, I don’t think the golden power will EVER return.

1:23 actually it’s not true because in season three Lloyd gave up his golden power and returned it to the temple of light so if they ever need to access the power again, the ninjas will just redo what they did at the temple of light and Lloyd will be granted back his golden power

If golden power returns, then it might have something to do with Lord Ras and draining power. Since the golden power is a form of the FSM’s power, then it definitely could be used for what Lord Ras is planning. I would love to see golden power or the oni side of Lloyd come back for this reason.

Lloyd may be not getting the gold power, but I doubt Arin will have the golden power. IMO Arin is so special for self-spinjitzu, he deserves to have that element.
