Lmfao I was just telling my gf the same thing that I was stuck on this stupid first stage because I was afraid. So funny to see others were stuck too. I haven’t even thought about this game in over a decade then it just popped up in my head at 10:30pm on a Sunday right before I was about to sleep and I was like “ I gotta look this up now now before I forget”
I was born in 94 always played and loved mk but the story line and just the overall gameplay when I was a kid this was and will always be the best feeling of nostalgia to me
This game is the reason sub-zero has always been my favorite. He's a true MK veteran having made an appearance in just about every incarnation of mortal kombat. People can say what they want about Scorpion but Sub-Zero has always been better.
I remember my mom taking me to Toys R us to buy something and I got this game. I read the manual multiple times until we got home. I was so excited. Time sure does go by quick, eh.
I looked up this gameplay because I never knew what happened after the tornado guy. I could never pass that level so I have always wondered. Now I know.
This is not a bad game. A bad game is one that you throw away after playing a bit. But with this, you can spend hours playing. It's just hard, frustrating, unfair, and it takes some time getting how to use the controls and beat the levels.
Yeesh, this brings back memories. I played the hell out of this and its spiritual successor: Mortal Kombat: Shaolin Monks, starring Liu Kang and the Great Kung Lao.
@@hernanariel3464 , same thing with the PlayStation. If you spare Scorpion, Shinnok appears in the Netherrealm. If you kill him here, you fight Scorpion again.
@@JWBabaYaga hey man!! Good memories!!! I didn't knew that! Thanks!. They need to make a good remake of this title! With a Graphic engine and tech from todays, maybe they'll have to put new stuff in it, cause it was a lil bit short story, but a Damn good story in the end!!!
I know this game gets a lot of hate...but it was the last live action. Of course I was lucky and had help on level 2, particularly the boss fight. I'll admit I used cheat codes but sometimes a person just wants to indulge in the awesomeness of its soundtrack.
I know this game is terrible. I rented it and it caused me great pains to beat it, especially the damn wind temple. Not to mention all the moves in the game are useless (even the regular freeze!!) and the controls are awful...yet I have a soft spot for this game and still play it once in awhile on my N64....don't know why; guess it is so bad it is good and well, I do like the soundtrack. :)
That's because you're wrong. This game is not "useless" it's interesting and has a meaningful journey. Where newer games like Dragon Age that has a lot of action but doesn't have that adventure feeling to it
I;m not embarrassed to admit I loved this game as a kid. Sure, the controls were hellacious and pretty much all the freeze moves were useless, but otherwise I found it pretty fun, despite the general consensus of it being terrible xD. I even beat it on very hard XD.
There was supposed to be more of the Mythologies games, but the low sales of this one doomed the series. Now instead of Mythologies, we have the Mortal Kombat Legacy web series.
I really did enjoyed mortal kombat mythologys sub zero it was the first mortal kombat game I ever played and it's what got me into playing the mortal kombat games. It is my favorite mortal kombat game but am not saying is perfect though
Was this game released today, people would be crying out that Quan Chi and others with Asian names, do not look Asian... Cultural appropriation and shit. Miss the 90s.
I've always known about this game's existence. I'm just now seeing footage of it for the first time. This game looked like it was horrible. For those who have played it...am I wrong?
I got this game as a 2nd or 3rd grader for Christmas. I loved it. Somehow I beat it with no help or walkthrough etc. Just a lot of deaths. It definitely had me raging at the game, but I do have fond memories of it. Then years later I start noticing all the trends to say how horrible a game it was, and I gotta say I didn’t really agree with them. It’s a much better game than Superman 64 (by like 100 times) but people tried to act like it was the worst game ever made. It certainly isn’t the best tho.
this game was much more weird than it was bad. I was only disappointed it wasn't 3D and looked dated, but it had the right atmosphere and some fun gameplay. Damn hard tho...its too bad, MK fans really deserved a proper next gen spinoff at the time.
Já assisti vídeo dos cara zerando e para eles o cara simplesmente aparece, mas quando eu entro nessa parte ele não aparece. Vou até o final que tem um parede e não consigo avançar no jogo
It says: You stayed all day to save this game, right? When he was younger, he had Mortal Sub-Zero as well. The most difficult game, in my opinion, of the Nintendo 64. I managed to reach only the fourth stage.
This is one of those games I was destined and determined no matter how frustrating to beat, unfortunately I ALWAYS GAVE UP BECAUSE i GOT CONFUSED ON THE LAST LEVEL AND TOTALLY STUCK,TOO BAD THEY DIDN'T HAVE INTERNET BACK THEN i AM 26 NOW. sorry did't mean caps.
You not good but you beated one of the hardest mk games known to man I beated all the element gods thats I how I know I was a goat this game wasn't easy tho
What I'm saying. Major fumble by just releasing a new fighting game every couple of years. How bout making a new great game people will remember in twenty years
