Tip for rookies like me. If you use a new display made sure you cover the metal back of the display with kapton tape. I shorted my ds lite and had to replace F2. Working now.

what is the glass or protective cover called in top of the touch screen, i need to change my one, is it just a sticker plastic glass protector?

This is actually hard, i tried it myself and the it's only half working. I think i damaged the ribbon cable or didn't apply the digitzer correctly on the screen. edit: the way you do it is smart af applying it in the shell like that🤦 well i gotta buy another and redo it now. Great video

Where did you get this one ive seen people put up videos with digitisers that aren't completely clear.

what is the technique to applying the digitizer?

I was doing a shell swap and When removing the white border I removed the plastic film underneath as well.. touch doesn’t work now even after reheating adhesive and putting it back on.. is it no good once you remove that?

you make this look so easy, i'm terrified of actually attempting this and fucking up my beloved nds lite. i've had it since it first came out and the touch screen just doesn't work properly anymore
