Did you know you can now take an original DS and return it to its original condition? Of course the quality of the replacement parts isn't quite up to that of the original, however if you have a broken console and want to repair it, this video is for you.
It's a quick look at my most recent Nintendo DS refurbishment followed by a more in-depth video of the installation process and tools used. Surprisingly, replacement shells for the original DS (in a range of colours) have only fairly recently become widely available. It's a great way to breathe new life into all those broken consoles in homes around the world, and a fun project to do. It can be frustrating in parts, so if you're thinking of doing one and you want to see how I got on, have a watch!
