Okay, so I bought the OLED as an impulse buy and as soon as I saw the screen turn on. I was amazed at how much an OLED screen can make a difference. I’m for sure keeping this one and selling my V2 to make up for it.

I too am obsessed with Animal Crossing and I LOVE this OLED Switch. I’m so happy I got it. Stumbled across your video randomly and with your love for AC, Nintendo and Apple, our likes are very similar haha, so I subscribed!

Did the same thing with my OLED + ACNH mint joy cons lol. That one carries too much memories throughout the pandemic. And I just love the soft, pastel colored 'cons. I have the same reaction with you too, didn't know I would enjoy the OLED screen so much. Seeing it in action is to be seen to be believed. Screenshots, videos just couldn't do it justice.

I feel it’s definitely $50 worth of upgrades over the original switch if you don’t own any, but it’s hard to justify coughing up $350 for a new console with essentially cosmetic updates if you’re not a heavy switch player. If you have a solid collection of games, you prefer handheld, and you have the means without hurting your wallet then it’s definitely a solid upgrade while we wait for the “Pro” model.

This is exactly how I feel too. Also have the switch lite. The screen bezel does look a lot nicer but not worth $350 when my OG switch works perfectly fine and there’s not difference in game performance

the ‘pro’ switch was never coming out.. it was just all the hype for youtubers and ad revenue. everyone was hyping it up just for views. it was never a thing.

ordered one. it hasn't arrived yet, and I am not sure if I'll actually keep it, bc I'd have to pay it off in installments and I am only a student still. but I have been wanting a handheld for years (to play Animal Crossing especially) now. was so close to getting the switch lite but then again, if I were to purchase a pair of joy cons, i could as well go for a regular switch. but then there comes the OLED, which is especially an upgrade for anyone who likes playing handheld. ugh i am still torn but I'll decide once it's here

Yeah that smaller screen bezel gives it so much better gaming experience combines with the OLED panel. Why did they not do this in the first place 🤣 I'm still waiting for one to find here .. 😨

I probably started thinking of getting a switch about 2 months ago and just out of nowhere I found it on Best Buy and ordered it and picked it up the next hr and I for sure don’t regret it I’m hooked on Zelda BOTW lol never was really a handheld gamer and now im hooked! Maybe it was the filter, but when playing Metroid on the regular switch the screen didn’t seem as clear/bright. If the next iteration comes out and it is not a hybrid I would get the OLED since I always play in handheld.

I want to get the ACNH edition switch. But instead I got a few years ago the updated version of the regular switch with red and blue joycons. Because I didn’t know they would release an ACNH edition switch. I don’t play my switch in doc mode often so my fiancé gave me his rubber protective handheld case I got him for Christmas because he didn’t like the case. Only time I take case off is when I play Ring Fit Adventures.
