Very good work and you make it look too easy! I was worried slightly when you knocked the capacitor while aligning the chip but it was only a slight touch. I'd panic and go to move it back while knocking the rest off and not getting the chip straight either!!

Hello, thanks you for your work. I have some shorted capacitor to ground behind the APU. I checked all other capacitors on the board, all is good The fuse front of the usb c connector is good. The usb connector looks mint. The battery showing 2.5v, discharged but probably working. I really don't know want happen with this board. 0A while connected... Thanks you, I'll appreciate

How to know if there's a short if the multimeter doesn't beep on diode mode? Which are the values that says that there is a short? Btw love your videos keep it up👍💪

Hold power & volume down or up for 5-15 seconds that should do the trick if its not turning on .

Hi bro and hi everyone! (apologies for off topic) My Pc has some mysterious issue that I can't figure out no matter what, it turns on and off in a matter of 1 seconds repeatedly. I've read lot of online materials and also RU-vid, basically have tried everything in my view, as: - replaced Psu with new one - removed all components like ram, gpu, disconnected hard drives etc and reconnect cables carefully done and fit everything. But yet this power cycle won't go away! Pc specs: -Motherboard Asus maximus vii ranger Intel Z97 chipset -Cpu i7-4770s -Gpu Asus gtx 1050ti -12GB ram hyperx -120GB ssd and 500GB hdd The only way that managed to boot normally was when I removed cmos battery and let pc disconnected from Psu and cmos for about 1hr,after that I place battery and Psu and pc will turn on normally, this method will last for 2-3 days, as it happens again when I turn pc on the same issue that I had will be manifested (after 2-3 days), I call this mistery bcoz if it was motherboard dead it would not boot up after what I did (mentioned above) all components works normal when I'm on windows, if someone could help me I appreciate it a lot, its been 1 month and everyday I wakeup I'm afraid the pc won't turn on as today, thank u again I hope someone has the idea!

I have a switch with no Sound coming from speakers but you can hear through headphones. I took apart and i did find some stick substance on the inside where the right side joycon is but did not look like it reached the board. Everything works fine but the sound. Any Idea? could it be a resistor , should i just test it all?

If your battery in your switch is completely defective will the switch system still try to charge it? My switch charged up to 23% stopped now it's completely depleted and will not turn on. Just wondering if it could be still a battery or the motherboard charging system. I'm hoping it's just a battery. I have a replacement battery coming today just wondering if I'm wasting my time because I don't see the charging lightning bolt when it's plugged in. FYI I tried all the tricks holding the button in, resetting the power pack and waiting more than 8 hours to see if it would charge. No luck!
