kaihedgie It's a figure of speech, man. And I actually don't include myself there. I think the graphics are good enough. The Bayonetta easter egg is not even rendering the same amount of objects this game is rendering. It's just a background.

wiilover07 ...the graphics are OK.. nothing more! If you have seen some of the games out there with great graphics, this game is FAR behind.. that said, if the game is good, I wont mind the amazing gamecube graphics! :)

wiilover07 It isn't the graphics, it's the visuals. Nintendo games usually look extremely beautiful aesthetically, with polished textures and plenty details. This just looks, bland. People were just expecting ''Super Mario World 3D,'' ''The Legend of Zelda U,'' and ''Splatoon'' visuals considering that this is a huge first party title. That's it. It isn't the graphics, pal. Even though graphics should look up to date. This looks more like a ''Wii'' title than ''Wii U.'' That does not mean that the game won't be fun as graphics don't have anything to do with that aspect of the game, but visually it doesn't look good.

***** The game has only been in development for a little over a year. The fact that they got this much done in that time span is pretty impressive. And for all we know, this E3 demo could be months old.

TheSilverazo they are the first levels, they need to have a good difficult curve I'm sure by the time you get to the end of the game you'll be wishing for less enemies

TheSilverazo I don't remember the enemies in the first stage of StarFox 64 being a threat. Then again, it could be my memory.

TheSilverazo I do believe, however, that it is too slow paced.

TheSilverazo keep in mind that this game probably has a good amount more levels than 64 so the difficult will be more drawn out, you only really do around 10 levels before 64 is over, so it gets harder quicker

TheDuckClock I have feelings that are clashing WAY TOO HARD right now. Corneria looks like something from SF: Assault, and Space is... well, space. But the level of detail on Titania; the lighting, the vividness of the colors and textures, the atmosphere (Freakin' SANDSTORM TORNADO in the background!)... Why have they pulled it off SO WELL on this this stage while Corneria looks half-baked and not finished?

Plague Seeker Graphics doesn't necessarily mean it should be like a dark and gritty ''Call of Duty'' pal. Gorgeous aesthetics, polished textures and graphical details is what we are talking about here. Perfect example is games like ''Okami.'' Also, games today should strive to be 1080p and 60fps if possible. Technology is improving. That's good.

***** But you fail to realize that not everyone cares. You assume it's because we are Nintendo fan boys. It's crazy to me that someone would be bothered by this minescule detail. And I know it doesn't have to be dark and gritty, Kingdom Hearts is another great example of that (As I can see you're a fan of).

Thank you, Robo Kirby! Neither did I, really. I thought the mechanical/metal textures and structures were fine, but the green mountains were a little dated looking. But good enough to show it off at a development stage. It was nice!

Robo_Kirby I think they did that on purpose. Notice that the textures in this game look a lot like the ones in 64 did. Perhaps to keep some of the feel that the older game had as well.

Ryuujin1078 well it IS the first level. think of it like this; its a little slow so you can get used to the controls faster. im sure in later levels itll be a tad faster with more enemies (but not so much you'll crash into them due to being so crowded to the point you'll break off a wing ala katina)

***** Slow your roll dude, i never said anything about the graphics. Any game Nintendo makes in HD will look great! I'm just not fond of the reused set pieces used from and older game and calling it new in the demo. Hopefully it's just that, A DEMO but I fear it's not. To me it's a cop out just to have a StarFox game on the Wii U. Wonder if they'll bring back the Blue Marine lol.

Ryuujin1078 well, you know how miyamoto rolls. its always been gameplay first, story second with him. however, since the levels appear to be extremely different from 64, i'll definitely get this game. no doubt they'll incorporate a ton of new stuff to complement the new combat modes. that being said, if this game is extremely successful, hopefully they'll make a sequel to actually tell a new story this time. i do miss krystal. however, there's not much that can be done with old storyline at this point.

Everything else looks fine, just the land textures need tuning. Hopefully before launch, the graphics improve but the gameplay looks solid so far.

Robo_Kirby I can easily get past graphics when I'm the one playing a game (caught up in the action and all), but WATCHING unpolished graphics has always been my greatest gaming weakness. Corneria honestly does just look like something out of the 3DS remake, while they somehow made Titania look ABSOLUTELY BEAUTIFUL!

Plague Seeker if it's anything like the other games, it won't have difficulty modes but "difficult paths", where doing better in a level can lead to harder levels, and doing worse will lead to easier levels.

I see. Well, I'll be buying the game for sure. I just want it to be the best it can be. I do have some concerns over the controls too.
