Level Sync lowers YOUR stats to be on par with recommended levels. It does not make enemies weaker. Also, this vid was made before the DLC.

@@MistaFiOth Did you mean stronger? Also, that means if you do a twighlight mission from DotS after coming from DotN, they'll only do damage relative to an enemy from DotS, and they won't absolutely nuke you, correct?

You are getting back to a certain level, not the enemies.

More slots?

I think they mean how to unlock more stat slots on a weapon/armor. To do so you have to transfer a slot from another weapon or armor by soul matching it to your desired weapon and or armor. Only stats that have an orange arrow pointing at a solid orange vertical line can be added to an empty slot. Once soul matched, you can temper it as much as you want because it is no longer a transferable. A stat can also be inherited and swap out with an inheritable slot on the weapon or armor(inheritable slots look like a white arrow pointing at a solid white vertical line)
