Once u know the sets that will benefit ur weapon, its pretty easy. I can literally make +5 builds from the top of my head. The sets that go well with spears are: mataza, wote, red demon, japan’s bravest, moonlight prayer. Mix and match as u please. Considering u have a yasakani magatama, u can make 4 pcs wote and 4 pc mataza OR 5 pcs japan bravest with 3 pcs mataza, OR 4 pc wote and 3 pcs moonlight, OR 4 pcs mataza and 4 pcs moonlight, OR 4-5 pcs red demon and 2-3 pcs moonlight. The combinations are endless. And thats just using 5 sets

Thank you! I use this build currently, but I optimized it too: - Tiger of Higo Spear and Sword as main weapon, in order to use every (light) Mataza armor pieces and keep A in Agility without upgrading stamina so much. Mataza set increases thrust potency, thus also many sword skills - Twisting Spear damage on every armor piece to get about +45%. You can easily oneshot Yoki, Rokurokubi and Namahage from behind - Lightning damage on every weapon, Tengen Kujaku + Ame no Mitori

You can actually inherit skill damage boost on all five piece of armor which can increase certain active skill dmg by 50%. I tried forge gauntlets chance seems close to 1/10000 for a desired skill.

If it works like Nioh, the smithing texts drop from all difficulties so you don’t need to farm on NG+. Way of the Samurai hopefully works to farm all the texts to speed up fights.

Cant wait to farm this set. I have been stuck in underworld 20+ I was having just random spear build. my charging thrust does about 6k dmg and 10k from behind. I'm at lvl 540. If ur doing this kind of dmg at ur lvl and that low difficulty. I cant wait to see wat kind of dmg it does in Nioh difficulty.

What is the best combination in terms of pure damage in your opinion? Warrior of the East's Honor 5p + Master of Spears 5p? I almost finished my build now with Warrior of the East's Honor 5p + Seven Misfortunes Eight Hardships 4p (farmed a lot of inheritables), but after watching your video I seriously thought about replacing Moonprayer with Master of Spears. Btw, great content, man. I really enjoyed watching all of your Nioh2 videos.

I was really close to combining the red demon set bonus along with mataza. But there isnt enough armour slots in this game to get each sets melee damage bonus which is very sad.

Heyo, I just posted this on Cowboy's farming video, hopefully it can help you: I'm 99% sure I have all the smithing and skill texts in the game and my setup was simple enough. I started farming at the beginning of NG+ so all gear was base 150/160. I made it more efficient as I learned new things, below is the final setup. Clan: Gamo for luck bonus Tea utensils: Placed for most luck bonus Shrine: Hunters blessing for 25% item drop rate. Guardian spirit: Itokuri for luck bonus, secondary spirit doesn't matter. Yokai Core: Kodama core (shrine bonuses) is the main one, but if you have any additional cores that rolled luck or item drop stat you can use those too. Armor: Kodama bowl head (for additional shrine bonus), 2 piece Sohaya for item drop vs Yokai, Item drop chance rolled on armor + accessories, Luck stat rolls on head and accessories only. Weapons: only thing that helps here is a ranged weapon with item drop rate vs humans and item drop rate vs yokai. Items: Luckbringer talismen from Onmyo tree. As for actually farming, for longer stages, just blitz to the boss with running scroll and quit to menu if they don't drop anything/the thing you wanted. Shorter stages obviously you can just re-do from the map. Alot of the above is probably overkill but was my final setup. Clan, shrine, guardian spirit and kodama bowl head and kodama soul core give the most bonuses. But by the end of NG you should be able to roll luck and item drop on your gear so, it's up to you. I tore my hair out before the gear was finished, but after it was far more manageable. Good luck !

Secondary weapons are almost always only to achieve a second set bonus, other stats on the weapon don't do anything for you.

He drops em all, I would just use a 160 spear to complete the set bonus, doesn't have to be divine, it's not our primary weapon anyway.

The thrust attacks and movesets are a bit limited. Only a charged version, and a 3 hit strong attack for midstance.

Strong attacks in both mid and heavy are thrusts, charge dash, triple threat, and your top stance finisher. You can of course use other moves but it'll boost those to be the strongest

Nathan Sparks nioh 1 could go over +20. When the next difficulty level will be released +10 items will start dropping making the process easier.

You can soul match over +5 but you need to use the +3's etc that you get from the dream of the strong it will just take a lot of stuff.

How is it possible for you to use Tengen Kujaku? THE stats you need är str 27, heart 35, dex 32 and skill 33.

You need half those stats. When it says 10/35 heart/skill it means you need 25 more for a total of 35 points between heart Or skill. It could be 35 heart and no skill or all skill and no heart, etc.
