Updation of Scheme Documents-Regulatory provisions 29Updation of SID For the open ended and interval schemes, the SID shall be updated within next six months from the end of the 1st half or 2nd half of the financial year in which schemes were launched, based on the relevant data and information as at the end of previous month. Subsequently, SID shall be updated within one month from the end of the half-year, based on the relevant data and information as at the end of September and March respectively

Just attempted the NISM 5A certification exam. These videos helped me to gain the prospective on how the examination would be conducted and what could be the areas from which the question may be asked. Portfolio disclosure Mutual Funds/ AMCs shall disclose portfolio (along with ISIN) as on the last day of the month/half-yearr for all their schemes on their respective website and on the website of AMFI within 10 days from the close of each month/ half-year respectively in a user-friendly and downloadable spreadsheet format.

SID updating point can you revisit. For scheme is launched within first 6 months Apr-Sept 2021 then updation should be within 6 months from end of first half of FY year. Means from Oct 2021 to March 2022 SID to be updated. That is understanding from books...Pls advice.

please explain at what time NAV will be declared for equity funds / Liquid funds/ debt funds

Cut off time for liquid & overnight funds is 1:30 pm while for other schemes it's 3pm. Also NAV is calculated on daily basis at the end of the day around 4pm.

maam in the pdf which is provided by the nism there the section is mentioned - 'for example investment objective is written under Section 2 sub section B' do we have to learn that too or like you are explaining we should learn that only ?

Updation of KIM  KIM shall be updated at least once in half-year, within one month from the end of the respective half-year, based on the relevant data and information as at the end of September and March and shall be filed with SEBI forthwith through electronic mode only

KIM need to be updated atl east once a year. SID and SAI need to be updated every year. Hence KIM cannot be updated before that as KIM is only the summary of SID and SAI

For 3rd Currect answer is : at least once every six months. As nism study material stated Please current it ,you also made an mistake in 4th chapter MCQ .
