I recently recieved Nismo bumpers for my 370Z from Z1 motorsports. In this video I walk you through how to remove the stock bumpers so the new parts can be installed. The second part of this video will show you how to install your new Nismo bumpers.

There is no reason to remove the front wheels to remove the front bumper. I've done it plenty of times and it is easy to do without all of the extra work.

It's easier IMHO to jack the car up to remove the bumper as it makes getting to clips easier. With it up, it only takes a minute to remove the wheel with an impact which makes my life easier pulling back the fender liner. All down to preference.

The emergency release is located behind the rear strut bar under the carpet looks like a rectangle and has a square hole punched out

So the original undershroud would fit fine? i didn’t buy the aluminum one. But wondering if i need it to put on the bumper or just use the old one?

Great video! Question: Did you have any troubles with the installing the new bumper with the polystyrene absorber in front of the aluminum crash bar? I've had issues with it so I removed it entirely, but I wanted to see if anyone else ran into that issue. Looking forward to your response; thanks!

There is a emergency trunk release under where the spear tire is towards the front of the car its a small tab that you pull my tab was black some are red.

Can you use the stock front bumper lights (not headlights) for the nismo bumper?

Unfortunately not, was hoping so as well. The nismo lights are way too expensive.

Probably because I have a base model with no tech package.

For the front bumper, the edge extends out a bit further I believe. Not sure about the reqr but it was relatively cheap to get replacement liners.

I'm actually doing LTH's in a couple weeks. Not sure if you have a second vehicle/what your timeframe is on the install but I am going to be busy working on the clutch/headers on my car through January most likely.

WTF that rear fog light at the bottom of the rear bumper DOES work on the American cars.... you have to have your headlights on and then you turn that fog light on with the knob next to your headlights... the fact that you cut that wire is insane
