Whats up everyone! In this video I go over how to install the nismo bumpers on a 370z! I ordered them from z1 motorsports and they get the OEM parts straight from the dealer. The conversion kit includes everything you'll need to do this swap. I'll leave a link in the description for you guys if you wanna purchase one. If you have any questions regarding the install feel free to ask in the comments and ill do my best to answer!

With the undershroud did you install a nismo or non nismo since you have a nismo bumper

Dope vid I’m ordering mine next month 🤞🏾 for the emblems did you just use the ones in your old bumper and do you think it’s necessary to buy the undershroud as well ? Car looks clean btw 🔥

thanks I appreciate that 🙏 and I just reused my old ones, used a heat gun and some fishing wire and they came right off, just used new 3m tape to stick them on the new bumpers. the nismo emblems I got them from offerup and z1

What colour does the bumpers ship in from the site that you put in the description? In the pics it has red accents. I want it to be black did you paint yours or do they ship in different colours

the bumpers don't come painted, they were in that grey/black. the accents already come painted. if u want to change them u can repaint them or wrap them like I did

Hi Kev, question.. when looking at the car from a side profile, would the OEM side panels look off (or not leveled) with the front and rear nismo kit?

no I haven't really noticed that at all. If u get the nismo side skirts it would sit lower. but I have side splitters that's probably why I haven't noticed

I dropped them off to a body shop and they preped them, they sanded them and primers them im assuming

Hey kev, just wondering is the piece on the front bumper where the Nismo emblem goes painted? I could tell that the rest is painted black but I can’t tell if that piece where the Nismo emblem goes is also painted black or is the original gray black from the bumper thanks

it's unpainted it comes in this plastic rubber color

Hey, Kev! Were you able to reuse the styrofoam front bumper energy absorber? I had difficulty installing the new bumper with it on - but then again, I had some custom DRLs and brackets mounted on it. Not too sure if that was what was causing the fitment issue for me.

yea i was actually able to keep it!:) I actually just got some drl for the car and ran into that issue I just had to trim the edge of the Styrofoam piece so that they cleared my drl brackets and it fit perfectly

@@Vq_Kev Which edges did you end up trimming? I think it might be my DRL brackets that are in the way as well. So I just cut off about a 1/4-inch on each side?

I ended up using the same brackets the car had even though i bought the ones for the “Nismo” conversion but did not need them my car is a 2017 not sure if it changes for other years but im sure it should be the same brackets

you have to paint it, they don't come painted sadly. I think they sell the strips

Did the front lower blue trim pieces just pop right in or did you need to use bolts?

they snap on but they also need the bolts on the back to secure them to the bumper

🤔 those accents you have to paint actually, I'm not sure if they sell the accents like strips u can put on. On mine I had it all painted black, I just made a cutout for the blue vinyl

Ok so I’ve been waiting on this. When I get my 370 I’m doing the nismo front bumper. So, I see you had the fog lights in the old bumper are you going to put fog lights in the nismo bumper and if so will the old lights fit or do you have to get Nismo fog lights. She looks great man.

I plan to put them if I find an original set for a good price, and the original ones from a non nismo 370z wont fit in their, they have to be the nismo drl or the evo-r drl

Hey so when I go to the website in you description it comes out to a total of like 1,200, does it come with both front and back bumpers because it doesn’t say I don’t think ?

if u follow the link then yes it's both front and rear, and from there you choose the add ons you want like emblems fenderliners etc.

@@trite7364 you can take the badges off of your old bumpers they are the same that's what I did. if you want to complete the look the only emblems u need to buy are the nismo ones. be aware they are pricey tho. For the DRL lights on the bumper I got custom ones from ig from @lotusworks_370z

I didnt wrap any fender liners. I only wrapped the trim thats normally red

The exhaust tip fitment is the same for the rear bumper??

the rear bumper is a lil bit longer so the exhaust tips are tucked in a little bit you have to make them pop out more by adjusting them

I used Z1 new aluminum undershroud because my oem undershroud wouldn't fit well n secure the bumper.

Nismo Kev just got my bumpers painted today, ordered the undershroud and fender liners from z1 but they arent here yet so guess ill have to wait to put the bumpers on 😤

on the site it says 2015+because that was when this version of the nismo bumper was released. 2009-2014 nismo bumpers look different. but yes, this bumper will fit any year 370z. thank you for the support 💯

for the rear nothing, the front needed the fender liners and the undershield

I can't remember tbh was a while ago, I'm pretty sure I bought the kit with the fender liners and the bolts. I don't think I ended up using the ones for the rear tho.

yes I've heard of them, it is wish it if you don't want to retain the DRL. I wanted to retain the drl function which is why I opted for @lotusworks_370z

You installed the little peaces to fill the bumpers gaps a bit wrong dude, there is a little step on this parts so it needs to be behind your bumper not on your bumper.
