Firstly, I've come back to this video several times for inspiration and I finally got the resonated short-tails on my 2020 NISMO Z and it's been fantastic so far! I've been trying to find reasons to go out and drive before the bad weather hits us. Seeing as how you had the HFCs on here, I did notice you said below somewhere that the noise was a little too loud for your liking. However, I noticed that AAM has RESONATED HFCs, and I was wondering if you had any idea what that would sound like? So far, I'm running stock cats and there's still a bit of drone, but was wondering if resonated HFCs over the non-resonated ones would help with a bit of the drone. Otherwise, I am in love with my current mod so far! Thank you and keep on making that sweet content! Hoping to add an A90 Supra alongside this NISMO Z one day :)

VQ series with exhaust actually sounds pretty good. Ford GT and Indycars (both have V6s) are probably the only other V6s that sound good.

Sounds great!! Pretty similar sound to my Z, but definitely yours is deeper sounding I have to say. Can't wait to put the stock cats on and compare them to see if it was worth it.

Do you think there resonated hfc cats would of helped with the tone and loudness. I a currently have q70s with the 3.7. I have z1 y pipe and a stillen cat back. Been watching all your videos, and I think I will be ordering their cai and cats. I really want to keep as close as possible to what it is right now. Any input helps. Thanks in advance.

Do you get a metallic sound for the cats on cold start up? I got it ever since i put high flow cats on mine, but it goes away once warmed up

I currently have the aam intake and resonated short tails installed on my Nismo. I'm thinking of getting the aam HFC and a tune. My question to everyone is... Has anyone had their HFC blow out easily??? That's what I hear about HFC. that you'll have to replacing them and retune. Can you guys please share experiences?

Was the resonator still on the car at this point ? I have resonated short tails and a resonator delete and it's pretty loud. I'm worried that fitting the hfc will be too loud. I want the gains though 🤣

Sounds amazing, I couldn't live with it as a daily, but as long as you're having fun who cares right? I went the other direction: full sound system with sound deadening. The way I see it: It's just never going to be a Porsche Cayman S. So may as well make it more comfortable and enjoyable for road trips

Awhile ago my nismo had berk HFC with regular short tails. Once I added the aam mid pipe it was dumb loud.

I was about to get Top Speed nonresonated test pipes which don't have a cat (but are loud) but I'm not sure if my car would pass inspection - I'm near Schertz TX so I dunno what is allowed. I could probably get away with straight test pipes but ... I dunno it's a gamble
