Nissan 370Z/350z/G35/G37 how to fix random misfire p0300 p0301 p0302-how to change spark plugs 

If the spark plugs has an exotic metal coating and a pinpoint firing tip, you can damage the coatings or pin with the tool he's using. Use a metric wire style gapping gauge, they have a built-in gap spreader that grabs the ground strap. Being carefull of coating, can use the gauge he's using to check the gap, just don't spread gap with that tool.

nice i got 6 sparkplugs on the way. I tested the coil packs, and they all seemed good. I got p0172 (running rich bank 1) and p0300 (random misfire) I hope its the spark plugs. Its not the coils, and if its not the spark plugs I think it might be the injectors. I'll try the cam sensors before the injectors though they only $25 for pack of 3 online. Wish me luck man i'll update 2003 g35 coupe.

Hopefully you see this comment but I recently changed my ignition coils and spark plugs (oem parts) on all cylinders on my 2008 Infiniti g35 and p0300 code is still on there what can it be? I changed all my gaskets as well

I know this video is a little old, but I have a 08 manual g37 and I had a p0174 random misfire code. I changed the spark plugs with OEM spark plugs and a day later I got a p0300 random misfire code. So now I’m confused as to what to do now. The car runs fine no issues at all except It’s throwing the P0300 code.

I got 2010 g37 same issue p0300 random misfire but it’s make hard start sometimes but after it start it’s run fine no misfire or stall or die off anything you can tell is bad I change spark plug already

I have 126k on my z with fresh plugs and keep getting misfires at idle since I got tuned last month. I changed cylinder 6 and 5 coils and now cylinder 1 is misfiring. Could my coils really be all going bad back to back or could it be something else?

Hey my g37 is reading this P0300 code and I noticed the problem a day or two after changing my O2 sensor, So I replaced it again thinking that was the problem but wasn’t I have 96k miles on It also seems to vibrate at stops like it could be the throttle body

Always use loctite on spark plugs jk jk jk great video, about to change my plugs and coilpacks next week. Been getting the multi misfire. I clear the code and the rpms will drop down to normal and run smoother so hoping its just the plug or packs. Car has just over 30k but I drive it pretty hard so.

You can also multimeter test them spark plugs

Just changed mine after 40,000 miles and I Boughy the auto light spark plugs from autozone. After everything was done now when I start the car its spidering like maybe 10 tines a min until it warmed up. Any ideas?

I changed all my plugs and swapped ignition coils. At first I was getting error code p0303 now I’m getting p0304, but the car is running normal and I don’t have a lost of power or rough idle. I bought a brand new coil for number 4. We cleared the code with a OBD and it came back on, but it’s not flashing or running rough. What could cause this ?

Today on my 2011 g37x I got code p0300 for random misfires. I changed the spark plugs two days ago with denso iridium plugs but now the car is idling rough n misfiring. Should I replace the coils next? My car just hit 106k

My 370z just got a P0300 code and when it’s warmed up it has a high idle around 1000-1100 rpm do u think that can be cuz of the spark plugs?

Hey guys my G is throwing p0300, and P0021 as well. I changed the plugs and coils, PCV, both camshaft sensors, did the throttle body and ecu relearn and still running rough and when I’m driving and come to a stop it’ll die. I’m leaning towards the VVT solenoids being bad because I did get a code for the driver side one and even tried cleaning it but never touched the passenger side one. Any ideas? I even tried replacing my MAF sensor as well

Mine was misfiring bad do to the mechanics putting in regular ngk spark plugs and not the laser ngk another reason for misfire is dirty throttle body is what I heard too

2011 g37 just got a p0300 car definitely feels like it lost power. Shaking at idle unless In neutral. Rpm’s sit at around 1K in park. Should I try this?

First off **NEVER GAP THESE PLUGS** these plugs are coated with iridium and you can damage the coating and send yourself on another wild goose chase. Gently CHECK the gap but do not increase them just send the bad plug back. And yes SOME cases spark plugs are the issue but this is a half assed diagnostic. yes, plugs should be changed every 100,000km but what about FFD? Fuel pres? Vacuum? AFR/O2 sensor data? Fuel trims? Intake/exhaust angle? power balance? exhaust back pressure? these are all components that need to be checked for functionality before tossing parts at a Multi-cyl misfire. I’ve seen a hell lot more of these VQ’s throw P0300 for clogged cats and stuck open injectors than spark plugs. Moral of the story, GET A PROPER DIAG
