For Nissan Tiida 2007: After CEL becomes solid again release the pedal and start the engine within 3secs and let it idle. If it's still high-rev/pulsating idle, with foot on the brake, shift into Drive. Idle will now go down under 1000rpm. Shift to Park again, and the car will find its regular idle speed (near 650-700 rpm). BTW, thanks for the video.
Hello, I try some times relearn throttle on qashqai hr16de after clean, 1800Rev. After procedure of relearn and start engine rev was down to 850 and after few seconds it return to 1500rev. If the rotated light knob in "parking lights" rev not down and 1800 stable. When I turn knob to auto or near lights REV take down to 850. I can play with it long, rotating the knob. After stop engine while 800rev and start again it go to 1800. I try add the load from aircondition, lights, music and it take effect to down normal xx rev is about 800 and stoped engine. But relearn not remembered true xx rev.
Did not work nor does ANYTHING for me. Car ran good, no idle issues before the throttle body cleaning! I unhooked battery first too. As soon as I turned car back on all I get is a surging idle when ever it's in park or neutral, from 1100 to 2000 rpm. ! In drive it idles high and sometimes feels like its gonna keep accelerating when in trying to slow down! I've tried all the procedures but nothing works, and yes, no leaks, and as mentioned car worked fine before the cleaning! Thoughts!
I keep on trying this, nothing works on my 2000 nissan quest, PLEASE HELP! UPDATE ITS FIXED: I couldn't get my van to get to the normal working temp hence I wasn't able to get in to relearn mode (it would die every time after 1 min of running) So I disconnected both battery terminals and clamped them together for an hour, after reconnecting them started and zigzagged though my neighborhood, it learned fast!
I have restarted the relearn procedure several times; after I start the car, the service engine soon indicator illuminates and will not turn off - the engine will not rev up at the end of the final learning procedure. Any other suggestions?I have a 2012 Altima 3.5L SR
Hi, could you please indicate the reason for your repair? You should check the electric connector and terminals. Is there another failure code than the ETB? This might impact the relearn procedure. Make sure that all the electronic accessories are turned off and that the wheels remain straight during the relearn. Please let us know if that helped you.

Depends on what code you are throwing, If the code does not affect the idle of the car your fine. If you did the relearn incorrect you will throw code P0507.
@@wallysanchez1732 All you have to do is redo the relearn correctly and reset the code. This video is the best i have seen for relearn steps. if you don't have a scan tool go to any auto parts store and get them to read your ECU and tell you the code, they may tell you that they cant reset the code for you, just be cool and have him show you how to reset it, then ask if you can hold the scan tool and reset it yourself. most of those guys are really cool and will do it for you.
How could it? The idle relearn is in case the sensor and physical parts are moved unaware of each other. (or with a brand new piece of equipment). It's basically a calibration to learn min / max since each sensor and machined part is slightly different. In case your engine is running fine - it's not necessary.
