In 2016 the Nissan GT-R was given a major facelift since it was originally launched nine years ago in 2007. The idea was to make the GT-R easier to live with for everyday use, whilst not compromising on the sporty nature of this coupe. Nissan hoped this would allow the GT-R to compete against rivals such as the Jaguar F-Type Coupe, Mercedes AMG GT and Porsche 911 Turbo S in both design quality and, performance. @@arabiantxn Did they use launch control, normally when the engine is still being broken into, you can't use it, and with the cars they were testing they were probably too low kms for launch control, still pretty impressive numbers without it tho

Why is every car touchscreen so laggy? I don't understand? Are they using a single-core 100 Mhz 1kbit cache CPU for these things? A $200 tablet is faster than those things you find on luxury cars.

We'll just have to buy more toblerones to feed the addiction. Also - it's still one of the best value chocolate bars because you have to spend the 10 minutes after eating it picking bits out of your teeth. It's the gift that keeps on giving

You have accomplished something really good with your reviews: this reviews are deep and informative but also fun and entertaining. In the end, a Nissan Micra review done by you guys is better than most of Porche 911 reviews done by other channels and mediums. So kudos on a job very well done.

that's serious problem... almost all recent car reviewers trying hard to be funny like Clarkson or be an idiot behind the wheel...also like Clarkson !! Eg. Doug.. - he's really good with reviews but he fails when pretend to be funny and "an idiot". That affects not only YT - check new Top Gear S24 trailer.. LeBlanc,Harris and Rei look so pathetic when trying to be funny like CHM !! And again - acting idiots is reserved for old trio because they're authentic in that role and probably real idiots ;) Stop doing that and be yourself please !!

Alexander Fattoum I bought my stock R34 strictly as an investment. With only 11k miles it's value is skyrocketing. But if I was to own a Skyline to tune, modify and drive (and still make a sound investment mind you) it would be an R32. They've grown on me so much in the last few years.

Great video! Great channel. The GTR still is a fast car. The 0 to 60 time of 3,0 seconds in this vid was on wet road. So it should do around 2,8 sec on dry road :). The Alfa Giulia Quattrofogloigolioisoolooosjoo......... is with no doubt one of the best lookin' cars on the market with a fantastic horsepowerd engine but i definately won't get one over the GTR.

Tesla's are shite! We have a Tesla repair shop around where i live and there are like 25!!! Tesla's with a broken axle just laying around! I mean sure they are fast but man Tesla cant build a fucking axle properly. Recently a cheap Golf and a Tesla crashed with very low speed (directly after a green light at an intersection). Guess which car was more damaged? The 100K Tesla of course. Got his Axle broken of course! The poor lad wanted to have a replacement car for the time being (they told him he has to wait 6 months for his Tesla to be repaired), but the guys at tesla said he will not get anything! Thats just ridiculous.

This car can push it's limit up to around 330 km/h!!! That's just unbelievable and insane! No doubt this car is definitely worth the price cuz it is a FOUR-SEATER COMPACT car and has such incredible horsepower and speed! This is currently the only best sports dream car I ever wanted!

Even in those wet conditions, this AWD system is crazy to give this car traction and grip that it needs during that launch control~~ I don't know if there is anything that this AWD system cannot do. The GT-R is still insane with the launch.

Reasonably informative but, in order to provide a more balanced and real-life report, maybe you should include a short section on slow driving in town with traffic jams, hill starts and multi-level car parks with tight turns. Fast starts with launch control are fun but don't really reflect everyday use.

Not strictly true my friend But you can, or I should say.....you used to be able to 😲🤔 back in the mid to late nineties, I used to own a TVR Cebera 4.2 which could do 0 - 60 mph in just 4 seconds and it had a top speed of 190 mph and cost around the same price as the Nissan GTR is today, second hand prices even before they went out of production was the way to buy one as often they would be advertised for sale for a fraction of the original price 😲👍 my pet hate though was the cabin noise, it was very loud and often deafening on the ears when driving fast....which was most of the time 🙄🙄😆

I've driven both the older one and the new one. This is far superior if you want a car for every day that you car drive slowly and relaxed. It's still quite noisey though. The previous one felt like it came with a voice on your shoulder telling you to drive like a maniac... All the time. All I can say is the equivalent level Porsche is around £50k more.... You get a different badge and a worse car for the extra money. All this for £80k is a no brainer really. Even the residual value is pretty good. Gas struts on the bonnet means extra weight! Stupid point to make.... Also the mpg from my experience using one was 22mpg... If you leather it OF COURSE it drops...

Honestly, the GTR's gearbox is key to its brain-melting acceleration. It'd be weird with a manual.

Because some cars are simply better with an automatic gearbox. You'd never want a manual in something like a Ferrari 458, it would simply ruin the experience of a high revving responsive engine, and a dual clutch is simply better , it's a nicer driving experience.

Awayze I'm well aware that autos shift faster than people ever could, but manuals are more fun. And that's the whole point of this car, to have as much fun as possible while driving. Also your argument about the clutch fails as engineering a dual-cluch gearbox to handle a lot of torque is much more costly than engineering a manual gearbox and clutch to handle the same torque

I just don't understand why cars like this have a rear bench. Why do they bother? No one other than a little person can sit in there...and really, no one who drives such a car will put kids or babyseats back there. The rear would be better served with the seat benches removed and increased boot space / load capacity. In that sense, it'll offer more practicality in a sports car form factor.

It'd be nice to have the option. But those rear seats also keep a lot of road noise out of the cabin
