I think to get any cut through in the Australian market this version needs to be priced where the base Leaf is now (I.e. ~A$50k), and the base Leaf moved to compete against the MGZS EV. It cannot compete against Hyundai/Kia EV’s at current pricing that feel a generation newer, let alone a Tesla Model 3. The Leaf has zero desirability.
Leaf is long established… it’s a shame they can get their battery cooled properly so the battery does not over heat like Hyundai and Chevy do… I would have bought a leaf if they did not have the battery problem…
