There is no cruise control in this variant right?

Yes, even thought it's the variant just below the XV Premium, it does not have cruise control but not required in my case as I use the car within city limits mostly and If in India we use cruise control in city limits we all know what will happen! But apart from a few not so required features it's as good as the top model. Also note the engine specs are exactly the same as well. Very happy with this variant too.

I feel Renault KIGER is a good option but go for the turbo petrol engine for more power.

due to some good discount and few more factors like waiting time to get the delivery for other options , I bought Maruti Swift ZXI . I was in lit hurry and they delivered me within 10 days. After using it for almost 9 months trust me best car for city use. No issues at all, smooth driving experience. I am not that often long trip person but went twice for around 100 KM from Bangalore and was confirmable. just one suggestion if you ask me one reason for not to buy Maruti Swift ZXI , it will be safety. other wise tons of reason to buy this car. if you are like me 90% city usage person then go for Maruti Swift ZXI or else for long trip usage please check other safer cars.
