great video, something that would be useful is to show the back of the trim pieces when you remove them so we can see the way they hold onto the mating pieces, not nessecery to the job at hand but gives an idea of what we are prying up, hook or clip etc the adhesive you used looks like a contact adhesive and as you say isn't the best for the type of job there but it will give some grip. a better choice for the home diy'er would be something like the original gorilla glue which foams up a bit when it cures. the proper would be an PU windscreen bonding and glass primer. great camera work too, really useful vid i'll also add for others watching the plastic film on the door inner is there to catch and direct the rain water that drips off the bottom of the door glass into the bottom of the door and out through the drain holes, if you don't bother taping up or replacing the plastic cover the rain water can get onto the back of the door card and either ruin it if you have an older cardboard one or the water can drip inside the car as it now will run off the door card rear seen so many cars come in with water in the cabin and thats one of the reasons aside from other ways in

I always get the spring clip thingy loose with a piece of cloth i wrap around the clip. Turn the cloth and it will come loose without you losing the darn thing. But you can buy new ones for relatively nothing at the scrap yard. :)

Thanks Steven I enjoyed this one very much.Would you be able to tell me the name of the adhesive you used to glue the glass into the channel should i have to do the job on my K11 ? I ask because gluing plastics and glass is very tricky and I've yet to find one that works ! Araldite and Super Glue come to mind but they dont always work in this situation.Thanks for sharing.

i have a question, would you know if a nissan micra K11, 2001 SE has the function to open the central locking with the key from the passenger side door (uk rhd car) i know some cars you could only key open the central locking from the drivers door and not the passenger but i don't know if this is the case with this model

This happened to our Micra some years ago, I guess it is common that the adhesive just fails after years. Thing is, it happened again recently, can you please recommend an adhesive that would be ideal for the job?

What adhesive did you use I need the name of the product, did use gorilla glue to fix the problem it only worked for about 7 months then glass dropped again. Any idea what the correct name is for those plastic glass holders?
