@@CarSpyTV hey, unfortunately, non ok the system, not even on the cars secret menu. I am going to remove the plugs and clean them. I know she runs rich. I may have to get different plugs which are a higher temp rating

Great information and as always well presented. You had me worried at first in case you had created a problem on the Micra because it had yet to happen on the green thing to video. 😁 Driving gently could be overdone, 30 or 40 in 4th or 50 in 5th could have more air going thro' and engine not labouring. Depending on the car running the blower fan at full speed might be a bit counterproductive. But all great advice given specific to this great model of vehicle and as the youngsters might still(?) say "old skool" knowledge.

useful to know though you didnt actually mention watching the temperature gauge on the dash to see if its overheating and whether the cooling steps are workings.

Gotcha! However, the video summarises the steps Nissan suggests (in the owner's manual) once the engine has overheated. It's not about prevention. You're quite right, though. It's important to keep an eye on the temperature gauge while driving.

Please kind sir(or anyone reading this), i would be so grateful if you could tell me how to take out the HVAC controls unit. I can only take it out of the socket a little but don't know how to disconnect the cables it has in the back. I need to fix the knob that changes air output position or maybe even replace the whole thing if i find a replacement and can't fix it. I also have a problem with the fuel tank lid not opening from the lever by the driver seat, possibly the wire is too old and may need replacing. I have to pry it open each time. Love your videos by the way(especially the ones about my lovely little Nissan Micra k11 of course), I wish I found them sooner, when I needed them about some things I had to do by myself. Cheers.
