You're doing a beautiful job detailing. I bought a 2002 Pontiac Sunfire with 82000 miles off of a 87 year old lady. I'm going completely over it and replacing whatever it needs. It's a challenge keeping it all original.
Absolutely brilliant job my Friend! 👌🏻🤩👍🏻👍🏻👍🏻 I initially thought you’ll also paint the brake calipers red - as every race driver knows that they give you another 10 horsepower extra performance and the car can go much faster than ever before just by having red calipers (only joking)… 😉🤜🏻💥🤛🏻😎 Keep up the fantastic work, can’t wait for the next episode EJO! 💪🏻🤩🤘🏻
I painted my valve cover recently (turquoise) as the gasket was leaking and i wanted to do it anyway, and i tell you, a bit of cleaning and a freshly painted cover go a long way to make this car engine bay look good. I also painted the exhaust manifold cover in black and gave the whole thing a thorough cleaning, and it does lok very very good.
Great work! You should definitely check the cooling hoses that go into the firewall and connect the cooling system with the heater. The fittings there are plastic and they disintegrate...
Check the rust on the cross member under the radiator where it joins the chassis . It's one of the most common failures on the chassis and will stop an annual inspection being granted .
I really enjoyed your video! We are kindred spirits in the fact I like things on my car to be neat and clean. It makes maintenance much easier when you can see and handle things. Nice work and looking forward to more videos.
Like the way the most fancy and clean thing in the engine bay was the Borsch S4 battery. It is normally advised to wrap the alternator and ecu in a bag before jet washing. Your car managed it...
Blev helt chockad när jag såg detta, då det visade sig att du är svensk och gör detta. Du gjorde ett helt fantastiskt jobb att ge liv och kärlek till bilen och längtar och kommer se mer av dina projekt.
Hey Bro... I also recovered a Micra K11 at my Channel and i really enjoyed to work on it and probably i will buy another one in the future... Keep the Great Work 💯🔥
Thank you! I just did because I wanted to vary the oil pressure a little bit. Don't think it matters much though... But if the instructions says only idle then you should go for that. 👍
I like the way you explain and record the job. You should’nt install rubber brake lines, much better racinng/ metallic brake lines. Regards from Spain!
Thank you for your comment! Honestly oem style rubber brake hoses are completely fine for 99% of situations. Many high performance sports cars comes with rubber hoses from factory and they work perfectly good on track. However, steel braided can give you a better feel and better pedal feedback, but good quality fresh oem hoses are rarely the week point in a braking system. 👍
Wax is there to prevent rust at panel joints and part that are known to rust easy, and on electrics to prevent moisture to contacts. Lots of old cars have wax between panels, to prevent rust between two sgeets of metal, like hoods, doors etc.
#EJO, you are highly exaggerating with the 10HP from the valve cover. It is more alonge the lines of between 3 to 7 HP depending on the color. So please do some research next time before claiming such high numbers. :)) Amazing cleanup under the hood! You are awesome!
Possibly the best Nissan made for practical affordable driving , and the Datsun bluebird in the 1980s it's what all the Asian taxi drivers used in the U.K . If you are not sure what basic car to buy in any country , look at what the taxi drivers drive , too tip (:
That intake resonator is huge my god lol. you can cut it off and plug it or plug it without cutting it off. It's what I do with every car i buy, sounds 100x better
The underside is rusty, but is it a cold country? Replacement parts are coming out one after another, but this model "Japanese name is March" is getting less and less, so please take care of yourself! ! ・ [From a former Nissan employee]
12:39 add some coke zero about 1 litre to existing liquid and lit it work fore little time then flush it, coke will remove all rust and salt from inside
You can see that the Nissan Micra is quite different between the Japanese domestic specification and the European specification. For the Japanese market, the 2000 model also has a distributor ignition, but this model has a direct ignition, and the auxiliary equipment that is attached is very different between the Japanese specification and the European specification. Regarding the right-hand drive K11 Micra that will be imported from Japan as a used car in the future, be aware that there are big differences in various parts between the Micra for the UK and the March for Japan, even though it is a right-hand drive model. want.
Hi, EJO. I enjoyed the video very much. Regarding the heat shield for the exhaust, would you also consider using a penetrating oil on the three bolts? The popular penetrating oil that has the long red straw is what I have. I intend to bend the straw around the back of the shield in order to try to spray the bolt, and do what I can to hit the bolt head from the outside too. And let it soak for 24 hours. Just so I can avoid drilling out the bolt if it has rusted badly. I guess the exhaust manifold will smoke and smell bad for a while - but wouldn't it eventually burn off and not be a factor? Do you still remember the size of the bolt you replaced, by chance? I'm doing something similar. With the same mindset actually. I did an AC delete and moved the alternator. The brackets for the ALT were very rusty and I sanded and painted them - came out great. Thanks in advance.
8:56 you’ve used screw clamp instead of flex one which was before, are you sure that it won’t be leaking when engine will change temperature? Usually flex ones are used to compensate temperature size changes.
@@ejoautovideos I have a year 2000 smart car that the snow has not agreed with have electrical and mechanical problems and can't find anyone to help me! The car is in Vasteras. Can you help or know of anyone please thank you.
