You keep kikinass Brian my wife and I want to show you and Frank our 63 c10 hopefully next year no it's not a mini but we have a lot of respect for you guys 🇺🇸🕺💃 keep ER Rollin HOMIE
This is cool Brian not saying your usual stuff from this channel is boring cause its not but sometimes change is good and this is super bad ass can’t wait to see more of what you do to it….this video had me on the edge of my seat
I've had a '00 Isuzu Hombre for about 15 years now. It's got a 3/4 drop on 18" Boss 304's. I've always wanted to bag it, but never did. These PNW winters haven't been kind to the paint, so my 16 year old son and I have fun restoration project coming in the spring.
That sounds like a great project for you two. I was thinking of tackling the paint on this one as well but not sure. I used to do some body and paint but its a bit messy haha
I had a 94 kingcab like this with the 4 banger and a 8 foot box. It was one of the best vehicles I have ever owned. I only did wear and tear stuff on it, nothing ever really broke on it. I thought about getting another one but the back jump seats were dangerous for kids and I have a family now. I was a teenager when I had that truck and I can tell you that with good shocks and the sway bars cranked down on the front it handled very well, I could take an off ramp at high speed no problem. It also did awesome burnouts. I drove the piss out of that thing for years.
Next episode will have some updates to the seat situation. I think it would be cool to add the cruise control. They also make after market ones. But not sure if I want to spend the money as this will be sold and not sure it would add value. Either way...all fun stuff to do.
Cool nissan I can’t wait to see you work on it. I would definitely check out Mr1jim timing chain tensioner. It will save you a lot of headache on timing chain rattle.
I will look I may have the handle for the glove box and if ya find a 4x4 v6 rag cab it will have full plastics from the roof down to the floor in the rear of cab
Hell yea, dude. Truck looks like an awesome starting point. You probably already know, or it may already be in the comments below (I don't read haha), but Rohde Fab makes some sweet parts for the D21 trucks.
Such a cool little project truck and a great way to check a new format. I have the same truck in front of my shop (except the AC - we don't need it in Germany ☝️🥶). It was really interesting to follow all the steps to get the car fixed and registered. (nice b-roll, btw!) 👍 It would be cool to see more D21 stuff. 👋😉
@@GrinderTV I don't comment on each episode of "the drop", but I watch / listen to them all. So it was interesting to hear you teasering some information about the idea behind this project and it's upcoming content. Sorry about my late reply - I'll send you some pictures of my "tilt-bed-project". 👋😉👍
nice one mate .. worthless info for ya - in Australia we call this a Nissan Navara. loving the podcast .. yeah Im one of the ‘25 listeners’ .. also my lazy arse is finally subscribing .. cheers 🍻😏
haha heck ya. I def am familiar with the Aussie truck names. Funny story though...up until I bought this I didn't know the official name here was "D21"...I only knew them by Harbody or Navara. Cheers man
I have 1993 D21 awesome my a/c is out though and the horn my dash is cracked too took it to a mechanic they stole my Cadillac converter you know what I mean
Ok the interior tells me it's a base model Dash says it's a 95-97. Can't be a 94. Dash would be different. Timing chain guides are only real issues if it's a 4cyl. Hopefully it is. They last longer then v6 The door handle-arm rest. Beware of eBay ones from China. There hard as rocks. Thialand ones are soft. Parts 95-96-97 are the same. 87-94 some won't work.
Oh heck ya. Thank you and I will keep that in mind. I plan do build a few of these trucks moving forward so will def need to keep my life lines open for random parts.
This is awesome. I hope it does well for you so you can keep doing these. Are you gonna film any of the process? Like this how you safely lower a truck kinda thing?
Timing chain start up rattle.. But parts from Japan or thialand. Avoid china. I only use oil filters from Nissan. They prevent timing chain start up rattle. Frame wixs are the worst for this issues. I have a 95&97
