Thanks for that info. However, I had recently changed the fuel filter and I am still having the same problem. some folks were suggesting that the diesel is of poor quality. This vehicle is currently in the Caribbean.
Thanks for your responses. Question, I got this P1622 fault code reading, and I noticed my fuel injectors all have a zero value. Is that the norm or they have to have different values?
Just want to ask if what Brand of Scanner you have for the Nissan Navara Sir. I have a 2019 Nissan Navara VL 2.5 Turbo Diesel in the Philippines and I have this “Key System Error” in my dashboard and I have tried different approach from what I saw in You Tube and other different suggestions from the Nissan Navara GC and nothing work other than maybe a Scanner/ Eraser. That is why I’m looking for Scanner that is compatible with the 2019 Nissan Navara VL 2.5 Turbo Diesel.
Hello dear, I’m having 4 different type of scanners to troubleshoot issues such as launch, Thinktool and G3 scanner… but if your only a Nissan enthusiast try purchasing Nissan consultant 3 plus scanner. That is made only for Nissan vehicles to troubleshoot… if you can share the DTC and actual issue your facing I may shed some experience to resolve this problem
I have the code P1622 showing but no serious signs when it's started from cold the revs go up a little but they come back down to normal there is no black smoke or anything power is still there and when I reach about 2k revs there is a slight noise but nothing major any idea as to what it could be??
DTC P1622 means that one or any of injectors are not registered with the ECU… so when injectors does not get required fuel injection valve it may drops the cylinder compressor ratio… so the best is you follow the below steps or as shown in the video 1. Remove the top engine cover and disconnect 1 by 1 injector socket and note them down in a paper 2. Use a scanner injectors coding section and compare whether the earlier noted injector codes are matching with the existing code on the ECU.. 3. Verify all 4 of them and in case if you notice any discrepancy then you need to update the New injector coding
Hi, first time here. I am having this same problem (Code P1622) with my 2010 European/Spain manufactured Nissan Navara. Is this a normal occurrence, and why does this happen? Thanks in advance for responding.
Hello dear Welcome on board. This is normally happening due to the bad fuel filter or anything related to the fuel system, so the best I could advice is just replace the fuel filter and see whether you can clean the DTC, if not let me know and I’ll help you to lookin to the next level of the resolution
Forgot to add, the vehicle sometimes cuts off when it goes over a bump, when I slow down to make a turn, and sometimes for no reason. Do you think by recoding the injectors would solve the problem?
Roc co well, dear if you experience the same error code, please do the injectors recoding and register, in most of the Nissan Navara D40 this is common that injectors a get deregistered automatically,
