I'm just waiting for my VE to be handed over. Your review is very objective which made me decide to go for the VE, though it's still practicality and economics being major factors. Thank you for this review!
True indeed, if you know what you want for your car, you dont have to spend so much acquiring a more expensive variant with features you don't actually need. I got the VE 4x2 AT because it fits my need for a truck as well as my budget. But still this VE variant is not lacking on features you thought you'd only see on higher variants. You will never regret getting a mid variant and that is where Nissan did a great job. Lamang lang si Pro 4x ng isang paligo.
My father's truck is a 2017 Nissan Navara EL Calibre MT. It's been a great family hauler for the past 4 years. We use it for road trips and errands. We even use it to haul sacks of rice from Ilocos Norte to Pampanga twice a year. The YD-25 engine is a reliable diesel engine, it already had 125k km and the coil springs at the rear made it as comfy as an SUV. Though the engine noise is a bit prominent inside the cabin and it will make you a bit exhausted after long drives. But still, the Navara is a great truck.
Thanks for sharing! We love stories of trucks being used as workhorses as they should! Would you go for 2022 EL or a higher variant like this VE come upgrade time?
@@pinayinfrance2642 they install sound deadening material to make it more sound proof. the better the quality of the material the lesser the sound from outside that you hear inside the car. try to look for it in some youtube videos. many vids will pop
honestly the main selling point of the navara is their pricing, considering that their lowest variant which is already a good truck is the price of a honda city and vios nowadays, has better safety features, better engine, a bigger and more commanding ride and you can even bring this truck to mild offroads even if its 4x2 , fuel consumption is very good and tried the navara's ride is super comfy, yes the engine is noticeable inside but its the most cases with diesel engines, and its very responsive and fast. ang machi macho pa, one of the best looking pick up in the market mukhang nissan titan
In the Philippines, the name of the game for trucks is diesel power. It would be great if we had more hybrid options available to offer both torque, comfort and fuel econony! The Navara certainly has great on-road manners in terms of Noise, Vibration and Harshness especially when compared to other trucks but I guess ruggedness really calls for the clackity clack of 'dem diesels!
for the Calibre VE and VL, it's 17 vs 18 wheels, roof rails, leather interior, power driver seat, push start plus a lot of Nissan Intelligent Mobility safety features on the VL! Worth the upgrade if you ask us
KAYA BA NITONG TUMAWID SA MABATO , MAPUTI , MATUBIG NA LUGAR AT UMAKYAT SA MABATO G BUNDOK ? PLEASE ! GIVE ME AN IDEA WHICH. PICK UP CAN DO MY NEEDS . THANKS
More and more cars these days usually omit the grab handle by the driver's side for a couple of reasons, First is cost. Every cent the manufacturer saves equate to more savings and potentially lowering the SRP. 2nd is safety, drivers should always keep their hands on the wheel and having grab handles is unecessary when you're on 10 and 2 or 9 and 3 :-)
The Philippines currently complies with the EURO4 diesel emissions standards and car companies wouldn't bring their models in without proper due diligence. As long as you fill up at any reputable filling station, diesel fuel should be fine.
@@ZigWheelsPhilippines thank you this actually help me decide on what to get either 4x2 dmax or 4x2 navarra I won't be needing the 4x4 since I am not planning to go off road
Major differences with the EL: MT only with less HP and torque Steel rims No reverse camera No touchscreen infotainment and most importantly halogen lights instead of those beautiful quad LEDs!
