wait muna ako ng 2yrs to see if goods ang 2.0 engine, as of now 2.2 engine ang pinaka ok sa Ford... 5yrs na ang ranger M/T namin at ok padin sya no problem and 80K na tinakbo.
I took one for a test drive and was really amazing how smooth and quit it was hit the gas it goes really no hesitation 6 speed auto very nice I'm hoping the bank does a loan well worth the price your looking at $25,000 for a truck,I don't think the 4x4 worth it but I don't plan to much off road
Do the back seats get hot? I asked a Ford dealer about rear ac vents on the xlt variant and they said there is "abang" for ac vents like the ones found in the wildtrak.
I think you should consider some review on the new hilux G 4x2 2023 at vs ford next gen ranger xlt at, price are almost the same but I think ranger has more pros than the preicier hilux ( which we bought a week ago )
Whats crazy is that the smaller maverick actually punches more power with that 250hp ecoboost engine. That alone will cannibalize the turbodiesel in this ranger. 😅
I think the Ranger still fills a nice niche (Nish? Nietzsche?) In the market for those looking for a tall, rugged, diesel truck. With rising diesel prices, I think oil-burners will return to those who absolutely need the torque rather than just the pogi factor. :-) hopefully we start seeing the market demand for gasoline trucks and SUVs soon!
@@RealRoyRobles and with emissions getting stricter and diesel prices consistently higher, I think turbo petrol and hybrid trucks are near the horizon.
I haven't gotten the chance to test the Sport variant yet, but apart from bigger wheels, a fancier front end, leather seats and other niceties, the powertrain remains the same, if the difference is 100k and the payment plan isn't that much different, I think swinging for the Sport is alright. Personally, I'll be happy with the XLT :-) until I get my hands on the Sport, maybe I'll change my mind :-)
Kamusta po ung aircon sa likod? Balak po kasi namin kumuha ng XLT or Territory kaso ung concern namin is ung aircon sa likod gawa ni baby. Out of budget na po namin si wild track na may rear aircon vents. Thank you in advance
With the smaller cabin area to cool (vs an Everest with rear area for example), the AC is decent in the 2nd row though you may have to turn the fan speed up just to be sure!
Ford Maverick and Hyundai Santa Cruz would be perfect for the Asian market because of it's smaller sizes. But sadly they are both for the American market and only being manufactured in America
@@ednis32I totally agree. If there's one thing I've learned from driving all the cars I've reviewed on the channel, it's that speed is overrated. Solid build quality, interior space, handling and NVH are what's more important and will make you love the car you purchased!
@@ednis32 mph ang gamit nila dun kaya nababagalan sila sa small displacement. 100kph natin, 62mph naman ang sa kanila tapos 60kph natin, 37mph ang basa sa speedometer
I asked them about the Telluride and the keep Tellum'me they don't have plans "right now" Which means the Telluride must be coming!!! (?) Seriously they're pretty mum about future models but you can bet we'll be lining up to tell you how it is!
The Ford maverick has an engine and that’s a complete piece of junk. The Ford ranger in the Philippines comes with a diesel engine that is not a piece of junk and it’s reasonably priced in the XLT trim
At least you got the Maverick! 🤣 I've been asking Ford bosses here to bring in that little work machine since it was launched! I think the USDM Ranger is due for a refresh into this bad boy next year.
