I did this procedure after cleaning the air sensor and throttle 4, 5 years ago but from a print-out paper and it gave me a big headache. I had to change the camshaft and crankshaft sensors today and go through the ECU relearning process. Your video is so easy to follow, thanks a lot mate!!! 👍👍👍👍👍
Saw this yesterday..did it today. Took me 5 or 6 times but it worked! I was having stutterings for a while. changed sparks and coils.. did not work. reset the check engine light numurous times. came back on after couple hours.. I hope this fixes the stutters. Will see the next days whats happening..
Another superb and informative video. Remember the timing has to be pretty well spot on in seconds, and if you fail to achieve the engine light blinking, repeat until you do. I've had to go through the process up to three times before it actually worked for me. It seems some seconds are shorter than others! hehe. Cheers Marvin.
Worked for me.after cleaning throttle body idle was a bit high. After the relearn process idle steady when hot at 800 rpm and my car feels working better.
I'm not %100 sure I've changed both sensors because of cam and just done battery disconnect and work's fine also with plugs and coils what i understand is the ECU takes readings continuely for optimal engine out put. I've seen relearn for throttle position like this. Happy owner back yard mechanic 👍
I've done this but failed. I made sure that the my timing is correct. The first 2 procedure was done before the airbag light comes off but check engine light doesn't blink. It remained steady. Help pls. Thanks
Ok. So after this video I tried 15 times with no success. Had to watch another video and read comments to see what was wrong. You have to count 3 sec then pump the gas pedal 5 times. If you don't it won't work. Thanks though. Without this vid I would have had to buy an OBD2 reader to clear the light.
As already said, yes, they can be. However, you can learn to drive smoothly. You will save lots of fuel (to about 20 percent) and significantly minimize the wear and tear rate. It is much safer and more comfortable too.
