Thank you! I've waited months for the battery to drain. Talked to my mechanic seeking advice, his answer "Pop it open. Swap out the battery." How?, I asked. "I don't know." he replied. Argh! Thanks again for the video.
I accidentally washed mine in washer went through the dryer I popped it open dried it out with hair dryer changed the battery Thankfully it still works hope this comment may help someone. I was freaking out. Thank You for the excellent directions had it back up and running in 5 min. The worst part was getting the Battery out of the pkg.😊
Just used this to swap mine out. It was a CR 2023, but you only see the “CR” on the battery itself-the packaging for Energizer just had 2023 on the outside. Thanks so much for showing me how to do this.
perfectly explained. you showed up close the front of battery and told us about the two batteries that is compatible and you gave a recommendation so this video is the best explained perfect thanks now I know I'm putting it on correctly and I'm going to switch batteries just like you recommended this is great I was clueless
Thank you for this video -- I did struggle a little getting the fob apart and the battery in mine was the 2035, but I replaced it with the 2032 and bingo! I had been struggling with the fob not working or working intermittently for sometime, fingers crossed this fixes that issue.
This video is great on showing how to replace the battery once you get the fob opened. The problem for me was that the battery you list CR2032, does not fit in my 2012 Rogue key fob. Maybe you can make a note on your video that different key fobs for different years require different batteries ? Once I got the correct battery, this video was a great help.
So my car isn't unlocking at all. I also tried key, and that didn't help either. I changed the battery, that didn't help either. What else can be the problem?
