You seem have take the problem at right time the rust doesn't seem to be too advanced but it's a hell time consuming to fix that great job another GTR saved from rust 😎😉👍👍👍
Hi! I used spotweld drill bits and sanding disks from würth. Most of my tools are from milwaukee. The angled die grinder is a must. Zink based weld thru primer on the spot weld surfaces and epoxy based primer on the rest of the inner layers. As for the engine bay itself i’m not sure. I just know that the painter used etch primer on the bare metal and 3m coating for the wheel wells. The seam sealer was a würth product aswell. Just let me know if you have more questions 😊
I’ve heard that you can make it work, but they are different because of the front axles.. your best bet is probably finding a part out 33gtst / 34 gtt and getting the strut towers/half cut
@@bilfepur so if i did a gtr conversion it would probably work? i was planning on doing that so i can get that awd in anyway i could just combine to two projects into one
Yes it is , you will never put back on the same place, and if you wanna do samething like this, every spot ehere is two metal you have rust, only right way is twk kind of bath, before sheet working and after
Watch part 2. Everything is seam sealed, rust neuteralised and in primer. The inner structure is primered and filled with wax spray. Weld through primer is used on weld surfaces.
