I never had a Nissan Armada v8 until now wow it has more power than I ever thought more than a sequoia and a Tahoe I am a Chevy man I am impressed I am happy with my armada

Next time try doing it with manual shifting, it lets u be at the 3k-4k rpms for the full hp to go through but maybe i can be wrong

It’d appear the F150 6.2 has much more torque but the Titan 5.6 has a bit more horsepower. I don’t know the specs on either engine, but that’s kinda how it looks. Nissan does better on a 30mph roll, Ford does better from a dead stop. Either way pretty impressive.

i know this is a 7 year old video but turn off vdc which is traction control and itll help with the slip and dont punch it all the way at the start give it ab 3/4 till you hit 20 then punch it the only truck i havent been able to beat in my titan is a eco boost ford and that is on the long run you got it till ab 70 then itll creep up and pass you

i have a 06 titan did u shift the gears urself r just left it n drive....mine seem to move much faster shifting the gears

Nice titan but the flomasters are garbage,i had flomasters and after i bought it i realized i made a mistake. Also go with a bigger throttle body.

Have a stock "05 Titan and am very pleased. Not surprised at all that it took a truck with a 6.2L to keep or do better. Great videos.

I'm a Ford guy but I also own a Titan. Fell in love with the damn thing the moment i test drove it. Best truck I've ever owned and I've owed both a Sierra and a Silverado before I bought it. Still a Ford guy and always will be though, so props to that 150 for winning every time from a dig

I think it's got to be the open diff in the titan. Loses too much power because it all goes to one place pretty much. That's why those rolling starts were just game over with the Titan but from stopped it can't give you a lot without losing the power. Get you a Detroit tru trac and then it won't matter. Good vid

2004 Titan made all big 3 trucks obsolete. Same old crap. Thats why I drove my 65 GMC until 2004 and bought a Titan. They had to redo all their stuff to compete. Nissan blew it bacause they did not advertise nearly enough and did not promote the superior design over the ancient American stuff from the 2004 release. With proper tires and traction control off the Titan should at least keep with the Ford

i've had few people try to race me with my 05 titan and try with f-150 and i walked away from dead stop even with the eco boot in the ford, only real mod i have is CAI and running stock 18" with Cooper a/t 3's

Ford has the laziest shift schedule, especially when downshifting from a roll. It likes to take its time. But nothing a nice tune can't fix. I have a 2015 3.5 Ecoboost that'll run to 60 in 4.6 seconds with a tune. It's insane and a great sleeper.

i beat the new 5.0 F150 from a dig in my first gen Armada by two cars. Shes gutted to 4500 pounds with Corbeau seats. jba headers, exahust, bully dog, aFe air intake, power raid. be cool trans cooler and the larger pan from ebay. light 56 pound wheel and tire combo, relocated battery to the back. Suncoast hood she does 8.9 in the 1/8 @80 mph. Beat the v6 tt version by a few cars on the freeway too. I go by Madahajimoto on the forums.

Rim size doesn't make the Titan much slower, but overall height def will. The titan loses speed right before the 1-2 and 2-3 shifts.....You can hear it and see it.

Ford’s don’t have 6.2’s. New Silverado’s do but the F150 like the newer ones has the 5.0. Both engines are great engines in my opinion cause I’m in the owner ship of a 2017 Ford F-150 5.0 and a 2004 Nissan Armada 5.6. The VK56 in the Armada and Titans make low end-to mid end torque. The F-150 loves to rev so it makes mid/high end torque. Both engines are very similar overall. Too bad the old Nissan V8’s only made barely 300hp. While the new F-150 is pushing to nearly 400hp. But now that’s changed. I really wanna see a Titan or Armada lined up with an F-150 😂

Keep in mind that the ford is 2011 and nissan is 2008. Also they don't design these trucks for drag racing or any kind of racing, they design them for towing and heavy duty

I'm sure the Ford weighs more for 1. I'm pretty sure the Ford has a locking rear diff which means its open until its locked which it could have been. I'm betting the Datsun has lower gear ratio which is the reason for the 30 mph outcome. Or the Datsun has a higher gear ratio and it is still in first gear at 30 mph. The Ford is twice the truck. Sorry I'm anti anything non American.

damn i didnt know the new fords had 6.2s in them, but your titan has the small gears on it huh, i can tell cause you have the small mirrors. My titan is the big tow edition has 3.33 gears longtube headers, intake, superchip cortex, with no cats and its pretty quick for a crew cab
