Same drivetrain plus a blower…. The same year Dodge Ram 5.7 blows them both away with 345hp stock.

The HD only came with 340hp. The lightning came with 360hp in 99-00 while the 01-04 came with 380hp.

I see this is a 2 year old comment but those titans are actually stupid fast. But you also have to keep in mind that titan has a 6 speed trans and probably geared better where as the f150 isn’t so much

No toying around in this video. We tried our hardest. I did spin on a few runs, but they were all done with 100% intentions. Not taking anything away from the HD's because they are fast trucks, I actually still want one as well. We will be doing a 2nd follow up video to this one. he swapped out some pulleys and is getting a better boost.

I say go with Uprev if your up for spending the 150 more. I had SC Cortex and I like it a lot. Sold it and got Uprev and I love it. Plus you can manage your own numbers and data log anytime in case you add more mods and want to see how its performing.

My HD rarely spins, just gotta be soft on the gas instead of just slamming your foot down

Wisconsin Wildman It just looks strange. I have this truck, and I can come up off the line a heck of a lot faster than he drives this Ford Harley. I have to admit I do toy with people a lot when they try to race me. That's why it looks like he's doing the same thing in this video.

Well for one my intercooler pump was NOT working, Two I didn't have any type of tune, Three I had no back pressure what so ever since it WAS straight pipe no exhaust. Now I've been waiting for raverjr05 for more than two years for the rematch.

Toys with the Nissan? I trapped him on the majority of the runs and some he got me from a rolling start. By the time he was catching up we we're already hitting about 85 mph +. Why would it be necessary to keep going more when a turn is up ahead? You need time to slow down & brake going at those types of speed. At the end, I got him from the snap point blank. Just as I messed up and spun out on our 2nd complete stop, he did as well. Factors always play a roll and sometimes you lose just as he did at the end.

raverjr05 ford is fast it has a higher top speed but no one races that way if this had been on the track quarter mile would have been done long time ago with the Nissan far ahead I'm a Ford guy but these ppl are saying the Ford is faster it has a higher top speed like I said no one Races for a whole mile in a half ha the Nissan was way faster off the line so the for was smoked in real racing

raverjr05 I have this truck. If I really stomp on the gas, I come up off the line a heck of a lot faster than he did. Right now, I'm in bad need of a tune up and I still can get 0 to 60 in 6 seconds. This video looks like he's holding back and not really giving it 100%.

Andrew Garcia Very true. Everyone seems to be going off up until we stop or he passes me up. I do admit, the Ford SC does have a higher top speed and is quick too. If you Ford guys have not driven a Titan before, try it out, they are quick off the line as well. We will be making a part 2 to this video. He has recently swapped some pulley's and it is pulling a bit stronger.

raverjr05 add a supercharger to that Titan and see what happens at the top end then ;) Wish I could afford one, I'm pretty happy with mine with just a programmer and CAI though, wide open throttle bypass makes a huge difference alone

Lightning is a different story. I can't take one, half the weight and quicker. I've raced one before and lost. the lightning is a fast truck.

joenissan it really is. Even stock, it has a really good take off. Waiting on getting headers this year.

titan had a few more mods and you have to remember, Ford added a supercharger yes, but they added a bigger blower pulley compared to the lightning so it'd be better for towing ( less boost to prevent knocking under load) so even if its the same emgine as a lightning, the HD only made 340hp vs the lightning's 380hp

Yeah it got me a few times. I spun out big time on one and others he got ahead enough on me for his supercharger to fully spin up and give him that boost. Stull love that F150 HD model. Wish I still had that Titan.

@@RobledoAdventures well my Toyota tundra can beat that supercharged f150 it can launch but one time we race a mustang it was red then we were fast like a titan and one time a mustang was stop by stop sign but we beat him and were taking my dodge ram and that raptor was fast and he launch like srt8 trackhawk and we lost

Your right, Titan is no match for a Lightning. I've ran one before and it dusted me. My buddy did find out, as you stated, that he was low on his intercooler pump. Since this video he has swapped out his lower pulley to more lbs. so he could possibly take me out now. I've raced 2 other Harleys with working IC pumps. Check out the other vids I have.

The top end gearing on the titan and aerodynamics kill it after 80. My brother has an 18 titan pro4x and it hauls ass till you get past 80. Has the AFE side exhaust and sounds amazing!

Brandon Landry The Ford is a 2003 model, not 2001. At the time of the video, 2013... the Ford was only 10 years old and the Nissan was 5 years old.

This was 7 years ago. The Nissan is at best a 2014 (310hp-385 torque) the 150 is an 02-03(340hp-425 torque) the 5.4 has a 4 inch stroke so out of a dig for the first 60 ft the Nissan with a short stroke car motor in it might jump out a little but it won't out run it.. pretty sure they had to gear those Nissan s down just so they could tow and get 10 mpg
