Friends, this is Nissan X-trail SUV, 2.0 lit Renault DCI Diesel Engine code M9R T31 Problem was "No start" after Head Gasket Replaced in other garage, many Mechanics tried, but failed to start the vehicle, finally customer brought it to my place by toeing from 200 km. I really liked the tool you made yourself to adjust Cam timing but i really wanted to see how you used it to adjust the cams - its hard to do the work and film at the same time :) I enjoyed your video very much.

Appreciate your skill and also your tools.how come one cyilnder was o pressure compression.what was the cause . You need lot of patience to repair the engine out side mis assembly .your home made tool was very helpful to correct the timing any way cheers good work Irmao 🙏💐

Thank you so much Franco. That cylinder valve was opening early due to mistiming. This engine is little complicated about timing.

What a nice video. Mine still has a mileage of 60K+ and its a T31 automatic M9R 6speed DCi. Soon I need to change the transmission oil. Can you show me how or anyone show me how?

Use company recommended oil grade and oil code. Do not use any other oil

Hello sir, very informative video.My vehicle (X Trail T31) is also having multiple problems and is in the local garage for the last 5 months.After half engine change ,the car started fine but no accleration beyond 2000 rpm, tried every thing ,but no improvement.Finally, thay sent ECM for testing and repair.But after repair of ECM, the car doesnot start at all.So, kindly help me to diagnose the problem.Thanks.

No RPM above 2000 is not ECM problem, there are many parameters of sensors, braking system, cruise control, abs module and dpf all these are responsible for reduced sped. Now they have bricked your ecm

Flywheel side is no. 1 injector, write the code exacly on injector

@@devautoelectronics I didn't manage to code the injectors, I tried with OTOfix d1 pro but without success, the procedure is completed and after the codes are not written in the ecu.I don't know what else to try

Thank for this video. I have a lot of issue with this engine, after a strange noise within the engine then after that the car didn't start again. I wish to change that engine for a more simple one, maybe a petrol engine. Can you help me for advices on that matter? Which petrol engine can i replace it with? Thank you in advance...

Replacing diesel engine to a petrol engine lot of things to be replaced and would be costly. Instead of replacing engine buy a used car and exchange this xtrail, that would be economical to you. If repaced engine dosen't work properly, that will be headache later on.

For injector coding, go to special functions and select your region, my region is "far east" then only injector can be coded. Directly not possible.

@devautoelectronics Hi thanks for your reply, not sure how to explain this but i will give it a go. I get to the point were you need to add the numbers and letters for the injector but some of my letters are grey making impossible the coding. I got a picture but i'm not sure how to show it to you. Also what do you mean when you say " then only injectors can be coded? Thank you

Hello Sir, I have the same SUV and getting 1 Error code "P1435 - powertrain", any idea what this error code mean. Also I see some kind of smoke coming from engine oil dipstick, is this common on M9R Engine. Any help please, thank you in advance.

This code is usually for DPF, if regeneration cant help then check and change dpf pressure sensor, still not done then remove DPF and wsah, clean manually and then try deleting this dtc several times it worked for me
