AWSOME!! Finally! That dyno is going to have a lot of work, you are going to be very busy! Another idea... Golw plugs! R2105 with a p3, p4, r7.. Great intro btw
Yes yes, this was a long wait. A lot of work for little content and very time consuming. But it sure is gonna be interresting content. Great idea buddy. Thanks.
Bro!!!! KILLER intro! I was legit pumped up AF by the end of it! Is that TastyB’s OS in there for modding, or did you buy one for yourself? Dyno’s differ greatly between one another; whether they are 1/x scale dyno’s, or full-size. Even two of the same brand/manufacturer will read differently, so I’d just maybe get with a reputable engine modder who’s also got that same dyno for calibration software/procedure, or just calibrate it as your included paperwork says to do. The engine manufacturers ABSOLUTELY exaggerate their numbers!!! Best train of thought would be to just compare your numbers to advertised as simply a reference point, and do not get caught up in the dick measuring contests that follow your video published findings, as there will definitely be a LOT of shit talking. A dyno’s sole purpose is using it as it was intended; as a TOOL, to tell you what your modifications are doing, as well as to compare different supporting mods (nitro content, pipe designs, header lengths, compression heights, glow plugs, and heat ranges, etc). I’m sure you are aware of all this as well. If I may make a request-please DEFINITELY show the torque curve as well. I may have misunderstood in the video, but it sounded like you were only going to show HP. Man, this is gonna be AWESOME buddy, and I can’t wait! You and B, are locking up the Nitro engine content category on RU-vid!!! Keep up the good work! 🤙🍺🤩
Thanks bro. The intro took some time to make but turned out really good. When i saw Tasty's xrb run on 12% i was impressed and ordered one myself too .This dyno has been through diagnostic testing 3 days for approximately 4 hours a day. Multiple tests to prove out reliability, repeatabiliry and accuracy and tested with multiple engines. But it's still impossible to prove the numbers are the exact real life numbers. So you are right . It's a tool. I will show all the numbers. Just not gonna state these are the actual torque and hp numbers. Use them in comparisons and percentage perspective. And just show the graphic.Definitely not a dick measuring contest. Think it's gonna be very interesting to get some facts. Appreciate the comment buddy👍👊
This will be extremely exciting to watch‼️ Right up my ally and an engine/car dyno is on the long list of things I would love to have (working towards for sure). Testing and learning is what I live for 🩷 I am confidant most manufactures inflate their HP claims. - Best thing to do for your testing, is to keep things consistent. Make a few dyno runs on each engine to get an average sampling. Also, Compare percentages from engine to engine to see their differences (doesn’t have to be a HP conversation) Looking forward to it Kings 💯
That was exactly what i thought. There was a dyno guy that said he was gonna do a lot of testing, but only uploaded two vids over a long period of time. Very disappointing. So figured i'm gonna do it myself and get some facts about nitro engines It's gonna take a lot of time doing al this and have consistent runs and data. Sure gonna enjoy doing this. Comparisons and percentage perspective are very interesting and definitely not gonna be a hp conversation. Maybe we come to the best configuration for a nitro engine for sertain purposes. Thanks for the comment buddy.
@@kings-racing Yes agree, will be a lot of work but, should be a lot of fun. Take your time with it, if needed. Don’t get burnt out. - When does the race season begins for you?
@@a2rc Yes , a lot of work. Currently I'm very busy and I'm not going to rush anything. It just takes a lot of time but really gonna enjoy doing this. I already did one race in France and the next one is this weekend at my home track. So busy busy busy.
Brother King's. 1st out my mind is Congrats!! 👊 You know me pretty well 😂 I'm gonna take it easy on ya . 😂 Something i have learned is Matching my Head shims along with pipe makes A huge difference in performance. With computer adding venture's to the mix as well. Would be Great too see. With your intelligence i don't think you need any ideas to be honest. I think you can agree that we both analyze pretty darn Good. Hats off to ya Buddy 👊👊 I don't like to read so i probably said repeated what everyone else has already Said .Hone them skills in Brother 👊👊
Thanks Carl. You know it. It's all factors of the configuration that matters. Stoichiometric ratio, cranktiming, intake timing, compression ratio, exhaust timing and a pipe with the correct tuned lengths. If al this adds up and compliment each other you have a perfect running engine. It's gonna be awesome doing al those test and collect the data.👊
Yes, it can be used as a break in bench with a tachometer to see the rpm. But I'm not a fan of using a break in bench and prefer to break in a new engine at the track.
Cant wait! I saw nitrolux fuel, im switching from racing experience to that, what you think about that fuel? Is it better then racing experience? Thanks!
Lot of guys run nitrolux fuel here. Seems pretty good. They get it straight from modelx in Spain. Don't know the racing experience fuel. Did hear good things about the energy fuel
Thanks brother. The intro was some work , but turned out really good. Already made it in december when i ordered the dyno so this was a long wait for me. Thanks for watching buddy. Need to catch up on your vids. So many stuff to watch and so little time. Appreciate the comment my friend👊
It would be interesting to mount a nitro clutch to an electric motor like Adam Drake does on his buggies and make comparisons to the power bands and torque curves to Nitro engines. I believe nitro engine size and design are what is limiting them because .21 racing engines are the main purchases by consumers. Factories have never tried to produce an engine larger than a .32 that had real performance for cars or trucks. We could make a ..60 or a .90 engine perform well at high RPM in a car that could be what we need to take over the world again.
@@kings-racing I’m looking into the same dyno you have acquired. I have access to straight nitromethane here in would like to see the torque numbers with %80 percent. I know 50% makes a difference in personal use. Maybe a large displacement marine engine will yield the power numbers to make nitro king again!
