Awesome vid. I have a daily driven hellcat Durango. The tires that came stock were all season Pirelli run flats they lasted 16k, now I’m at 27k and the summer version run flats are toast. I don’t need run flats, and they weight a ton. I just ordered these
Thank you! Run flats are awesome but very expensive. I would rather just use my spare tire than pay for the run flats. Let me know how you like these tires. I'm still very happy with mine
Looks good im regretting going lexani and wish i went more for these on my durango. Also turtle wax has some really good stuff. Made my new rims shine.
After posting my video to a forum the number 1 complaint is road noise. I have never noticed it because my jeep is loud. I hope you aren't disappointed with the road noise!

Been looking at these in a 305/40/22 for the wife’s Denali XL Yukon. How do they handle in the rain and on wet roads? The 305/40 is about an inch or more wider than her 285/45s so just curious how they tread off water.
Mine have done very well in the rain and wet roads. Even handled well in the lighter snow, less than 5 inches was no problem, until I got to an unplowed road that was probably over 8 inches deep. Still made it through the deeper snow even though I thought I was going to get stuck. Not recommended for deeper snow
@@boostedfiveoh thanks for the reply. I’ve been a die hard Michelin ltx ms2 guy but I’m tired of the dry rot and cracks in 4-5yrs and still having half tread for a tire that costs as much as they do. I’ve read some reviews on these tires like you have and some people said they were horrid on wet roads.
@dommeister4004 No problem! Some have complained about road noise. I haven't noticed it, but my jeep is also loud lol. I do have all wheel drive but never had an issue in the rain taking off or doing highway speeds. I would say they tread water very well, I'm at about 17,000 miles now and holding up very well!
@@boostedfiveoh we’ve got corsa exhaust on her xl Denali so I’m not too worried about noise as long as their not like super swampers lol. It being heavier hopefully it will do well with the extra weight on wet roads. Just kinda spooked me when I read those few reviews about issues on wet roads.
@dommeister4004 definitely not like super swampers lol. I couldn't even hear the road noise until people started complaining on my video. I think you'll be fine since you do have that weight over the rear tires. I feel like a truck bed with no weight may have some traction issues no matter what tires you are running. I've had multiple trucks with all different tires and all the trucks would spin the tires fairly easy in the rain.
I'm already at 16,000 miles on mine and still have plenty of life left. I do mostly normal driving and hit the drag strip every once in a while. Do you do a lot of towing with your truck? I'm not sure why you would only be getting 18k miles.
I'm still super happy with my 420s. They handle great in the rain and did well in the snow up to about 7". I even did some launches at the drag strip and no traction issues at all. Most people complain about road noise but I really don't hear any road noise from the tires bc my jeep is so loud. I was surprised when people were complaining about tire noise. A lil tire noise wouldn't bother me anyways. I've never run the proxes before
The 420v is the successor to the 420s and rated for 3/4-1ton trucks. Seemed like a perfect performance tire for a daily driver. I also needed a tire that could handle a little snow and this one has done great in the rain and snow and still runs down the race track without any problems.
I am still happy with them! Still holding up great at 17,000 miles. Some have complained about road noise from the tires, but my jeep is kinda loud so I don't hear it lol
@@boostedfiveoh thanks for the reply! Curious question though, and maybe not-- but, have you ever left pavement with them? That may sound silly, but part of me can't wrap my head around the SUV thing (my first SUV purchase, ever), and think that for at least a small percentage of it's life this thing may be front country or mild off-road (camping, etc.). edit: Merry Christmas, lol
@bergePanzer581 No problem! I've really only left pavent for a gravel road or possibly turning around somewhere. I've never been camping with the srt. The off roading I would do with the srt would be very minimal. I also have a wrangler for off roading, so if I'm planning on off roading I'll be taking the wrangler. Merry Christmas!
