Hello, no unfortunately I have not done a video on the wheel/tyre removal. But you might find this video from @ScootLetsGo helpful about the process on the KQi3 which should be similar ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-bX0P59Ir0G8.html
The first KQi2 I received was DOA, and NIU sent a new controller that I replaced. If your scooter is under warranty NIU will repair it for free or send you the parts, depending on what you prefer. You have a 2 year warranty on NIU scooters.
What sort of light, usually if there is an issue the scooter display shows an error code. Here is a guide from NIU on buying spare parts: "For the customer from the NA region, if you feel comfortable changing the spare part yourself, please follow the below-mentioned steps: 1. Please go to www.niu.com/us and scroll down to the bottom; 2. Click [After Sales] and follow the instructions on the pop-up window; 3. When you fill out the form, please fill out what spare parts and how many spare parts you need. 4. Select [Send you replacement parts] For the customers in the EU, if you are capable of repairing the kick-scooter by yourself, you can purchase the spare parts by referring the following steps: 1. Please visit niu.b2x.com/shop/ 2. Click the flag icon located at the upper right of the corner and select the region; 3. Select Your Model 4. Select the parts you need and confirm the quantity 5. Scroll down to the bottom and click the “Next”" source: www.reddit.com/r/kqi3/comments/1cqy7yt/comment/l3ytya6/
@Lantea13 there is no after sales button u just send people on a wild goose chase so it appears to possible buyers that the NIU has good support but in reality they have none
@@jasonsamuel4110 Yes there is an "After Sales" button, go to www.niu.com/us and scroll to the bottom of the website and its under "Service" see imgur.com/a/kDP0uhv

The controller (at least in my scooter) seems to have the wrong wheel size - it's showing speed 2..4 km/h more on the display than the actual speed seems to be, as the rent scooters are overtaking me and pulling away, while I'm supposed to be at the 25 km/h. Is there a way to change that whell size value?
There is no way to change the scooter wheel values or other parameters. The 2-3km/h slower speed is a known issue/feature? NIU knows about it and towards the end of last year they wrote on their facebook group that at least for the German model they were working on fixing it, as that one was going 17km/h instead of the intended 20km/h and apparently legally it can go up to 22km/h (10% over the limit). So the hope was they would look into the limitation on the EU version as well, but I havent heard anything since, but I dont often check facebook, so maybe there was some updates on trying to address the lower speed.
@@Lantea13 I had an exchange on reddit and they basically gave me the basic PR stuff. Maybe there is a way to replace the actual controller with something that is programmable, without any official blockades? ...also, maybe flashing a firmware from a different model might help with that problem?... like the kqi3 pro.
Unfortunately that is not something I have experience with. I remember a while back some guys on a German youtube channel put an expensive vesc controller in a NIU scooter. But honestly that is just not worth the cost and hassle, imo. At that point its just esier to buy a more powerful scooter. But if you have experience with such mods would be interesting to see what you come up with.
Hello, sorry I am not sure what the best process is for reviving a completely discharged battery. I have not deat with such a problem so far. I know it is possible to revive the battery, but in this case it would be best to ask NIU support to tell you what the process is for the KQi3.
tienes que desarmar la bateria y revisar las celdas por q estan bajas y apicalr corriente a cada cela o alas que esten bajas y depues conectas el cargador y la bateria revive
If you did not receive a reply from Global-Service@niu.com after a couple of work days fill out the repair request form over at niu.besender.com/form and they should get back to you with possible solutions.

I locked my scooter with the quick lock option a few days ago and have been trying to connect the app with Bluetooth but it is not working. I have tried all possible troubleshoot but still nothing. Is there a way I can manually unlock or is there something I can do to fix this problem?
Afaik you can only unlock through the app. If you can, try on a different phone. If you still can't get it to work try to contact NIU support and see if they can help.
You can order spare parts from NIU service partner at shop.besender.com/store/ if the part you need is not listed fill out this form niu.besender.com/form and they will reply to you with the cost of the parts you need.
A while back there were some guides on yt floating around, but I don't have personal experuence with it. Also keep in mind that making custom firmware changes voids your warranty.

I somehow pressed the lock button during a near fall from a bump the that threw the stem back at me. Since then, I unbound my primary account and tried a new account. I cannot seem to get software back to bind it with my iPhone Bluetooth. It has stayed locked and unable to bind. NIU service says they will unbind my two accounts. They said it will take 2-3 days to unbind by the engineering group. Is there an easy way to fix this? Has this happened to you or anyone?
The battery is unfortunately the most expensive part of the scooter, if you have a battery issue is your scooter still not within the 2 year warranty period?
There is a gasket in place around the whole deck cover ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-2GT5LiTJ8D8.html. The cable holes also have rubber gaskets and are further sealed by a sealant ru-vid.com/video/%D0%B2%D0%B8%D0%B4%D0%B5%D0%BE-51C4HHwN7WQ.html I have taken the KQi2 through heavy rain and so far it still works with no water damage. After taking it apart, personally, I am not concerned at all about water getting into the battery compartment. I would be more concerned with the wheel bearings and how they hold up under many rain rides, as that has been one aspect that has affected the Ninebot Max scooters after thousands of miles riding in all weather. So far no such issues on the NIU KQi2, but I have only about 1300km on it.
Hey, anyone come across error 33, "battery open circuit imbalance warning" kqi2 pro, looking for a fix customer service is ignoring me, scooter still works fine but the screen just blinks a big red 33
Haven't seen that one reported before. I would try to contact NIU until they reply, or you can also try contacting their service partner besender for warranty support niu.besender.com/
Not that I know of. As far as I know the NIU controller works in a similar way to Ninebot, where the only way to change speed limits or other settings is through firmware. If you find other way, please share.
@@Lantea13 u need at least new controller and Display with the same cables, for like the M365 from Xiaomi 4 wire display... or u maybe to try to activate ur scooter with using vpn and set other region
