Fuckin aye right I try and cook these from time to time and my kids love them of course it can't be as fire but I'll be damned if I don't have these in mind when I'm grubbin
My dad brought me to the Hut back in my youth. I found the place by accident again, when I was going home from a friend in Old Bridge. I have to go back there.
First date was at the Hut married the girl still married 56yrs later took her there in a 1951 ford convertible,my grandson took his girlfriend there for rippers
Best dog 😊in Jersey….. maybe in the states, Working at Lee’s Auto in Passaic, used to go there in the early 70s as a young pup, I can attest, Rutt’s Hut is delicious!!!
Lucky you. I live in Illinois. I like vienna beef hotdogs. Run thru the garden. Tomatoes, relish, mustard, lettuce. However I have heard that Rutt's Hut is the best on earth. I hope you are safe and healthy. God Bless.
I'm Irish, but my wife is german/austrian, this looks very much like a hot dog recipe she can make including the relish, delicious as rutt's hut appears to be
"Started in 1928 with his German grandma's secret recipe. My immigrant family purchased it in 1974 and have lived off the name ever since... " No thanks.
I'd like to see them take an in & outer, skewer & dip it in jiffy sweet cornbread batter & deep fry, i bet that would be good dipped in the relish. I'm irish, but my wife is german/austrian & i find it odd that Mr. Rutt didn't offer sauerkraut as a topping because my wife, her family, & german restaurants seem to be addicted to it, lol, they like their own family recipe for sauerkraut as much as italians like their own family sauces, ok by me though.
I'd try them all, i'd probably end up getting 4 medium on a bun with relish, 2 cremators with no bun with some relish to dip them in, since they have the texture of a pretzel stick, so the regulars say, looks delicious.
Anyone know if the mustard is sweet relish based or dill based ?, plus i'd go there just cause the feller said he was 82 & going there since he was 17, they gotta be good
mgee63 can i ask, they show like an in and outer, a medium ripper, a weller, and a cremator, i'm assuming the cremator is not the most popular, what's the most popular of the other 3 choices?
@@stevelogan5475 The vast majority are medium rippers. Then probably the well done ripper. Not a whole lot of in & outers or creamators are ordered as a whole.
The best fucking hot dog ever had in my life since I was a kid until now I’m 40 now I’m gonna go back in the next couple weeks or next month to get hotdogs Clifton, New Jersey from rutt hit
what's not to love a quality product never fades out. cheap good eats!.place by me is like 9$ a dog and it's not even half as good as a ripper. some new west coast chain.
But who makes the dog? Obviously natural casing dogs but who's? Not everyone likes relish (This German Style Relish is All Over the Internet) Who's dogs are they using?
