I had to resist buying this one. I have the KJV Lion that I cherish, because of the beauty of it's design. This yellow would have been my choice though, because of the mustard yellow color choice instead of a neon in your face bright yellow. Been waiting for a review by you, sister. Finally rewarded today! :)

Bible aside, it's just so great to hear you again. I pray that all be well with you. That Bible is fantastic. I've never seen a yellow Bible before nor a black art gilding either. It's just fantastic and goes well together. In a weird way it kind of reminds me a mamba snake that yellow on the outside but the inside of its mouth is black. While I prefer all black letters, the blue letter isn't a bad idea. At least it would not hurt my eyes I believe. I was trying to read a red letter text Bible a few days ago, as I wanted a compact Bible and they only come in red letter so I was trying to read the red letter one to see how it would go, and though I did read it, it was a real struggle, so I'll stick with all black letter Bibles. Amazing Bible and great review. Thank you for sharing and may God continue to bless and keep you safe.

So good to see your reviews again! That really is a very different looking Bible. Startling, in fact. I hadn't thought of it, but it would be kind of hard to figure out at a glance what in the world someone is reading with a yellow cover and gold edges - wait, no black, no, gold, what? Since I don't have one of these, it still might take me a bit to figure out what I'm seeing. Great review. Just curious: it seems to me that this Bible is quite large. Since there are only 66 added pages of those artistic prints (gorgeous!), how did it get so big and thick? There's nothing more than a concordance and maps at the end. It's not a study Bible. So .... what makes it big and thick?

I have this bible. I ordered it as I loved the Color offer! Love the words of Christ in Blue. Unfortunately the goatskin is so stiff, almost feels fake in my hands, and the odor is very off putting, so much so that I've not been able to even use it for my reading. In comparison to say my Schuyler bibles where the goatskin smell is wonderful and the cover feels amazing in hand. I gave it to my husband who is less bothered by the issues I mentioned. My son wants one of the NASB ones that they have coming out in orange. I too would love one but with the issues of smell and cover feel, unfortunately I will be passing for myself.

I LOVE the whole look of this bible ..the pictures are incredible ..BUT …WAY TOO EXPENSIVE for me…I wish I could afford this..& I would rather have red letter then blue because I like the meaning of why they picked the red then any other color…other than this love what I’ve seen from this bible ..just way tooo expensive
