Bought this bible a week ago, was on sale at Christian Book Distributors for $13.43. Great deal. It's a great bible, love the extra large print size. Got the teal cover. Decorated the sleeve it comes in, so I could keep it as a sort of bible cover since you can't find bible covers that'll fit. Very nice bible, I'm super happy with it.

The video was well did, i enjoyed it! the main reason i watched it is because i ordered this bible today, it was the light green/aqua one with flowers on the side, i got it because i love to bible journal and write down what Jesus by His Holy Spirit is leading me to learn but i wanted to have a lot of room for my notes so i got this bible. and I wanted to see a good in depth review about it and i must say your review is top tier! thanks for uploading it! Jerry Falwell REALLY helped his congregation and his TV viewers by sending out some of the BEST Bibles, Commentaries, Dictionaries, and other Bible study aids of ANY televangelist at the time. Jim Bakker, Rex Humbard, Pat Robertson, etc NEVER provided such amazing Christian publications as did brother Jerry. AND I may ADD he sold his welll printed books at a loss to be a blessing to the Christian community.

Can anyone help me where can I get this for cheap? It is so expensive here in the philippines.

I envy you getting a mint condition Open Bible. Back in my 70s childhood days I remember Jerry Falwell offering The Open Bible to his Old Time Gospel Hour TV viewers. I have a 1977 version and it has a dark blue cover with gold lettering. They really did produce some quality publications back then - no Bibles printed by slave labor in China. This OTGH Open Bible is the later Expanded Version that was first put out in 1985 with the light grey cover with blue lettering.

Wish the font was a little larger for the notes. I had to settle for the large print edition that isn’t as nice.

I surely miss your reviews. 💝 I actually stopped watching bible reviews a couple years ago, due to the fact that it seemed to be leading me into a sort of idol worship. All the fancy bibles and the collecting of bibles was something I didn't want to fall into. After all it's not the bible we should love but God that the bible reveals to us. Longer story short I bought , what I call my forever bible last year. You actually did a review for it. I don't like to clutter it up with a bunch of fluff ( anything that isn't growth, study worthy). I do however like the idea of a devotional bible, so I'm kinda on the hunt for a forever devotional bible. One that I could put sticky notes in and jot down things that are more devotional in nature. I've been looking at the NLT Spiritual Growth bible(which , if you would review would be amazing) as the main canidate but this bible looks promising as well. Thank you.

I love this Bible. Bought this just over a month ago, easy to read and enough room too write comments. No bleeding though the pages. I’m a fan of the NASB 95 use it 90 % with NKJV. I recommend it.

I bought the Purple/Tan one last year for $17 on EBay. (Brand New) Love it

Thanks for your post on the NKJV Study Bible 3rd Edition. Mine is almost identical to yours except that the cover on yours has more decorative stitching than mine. Thomas Nelson has done a wonderful job in the design, formatting and printing in this bible.

Anyone else have a problem with the binding? I sent my first one back and am waiting on the second. It was clear a grouping of the pages were about to come out.

I have been watching on my other channel for a long time your videos I have bought many bibles recommended by your self for studying and they are so helpful but this is one of my favourites.

I’m disappointed in the second edition. The verse numbers both in text and commentary are much harder to see in the pale blue compared to the 1997 bold black. Ditto for the commentary subject lines. My first edition by word press is much easier to use than my Nelson second edition. Very disappointed in what Nelson changed. Also the premier isn’t offered indexed therefore I had to purchase the genuine leather edition. I had hoped to get one to match my premier classic verse by verse. This just makes no sense.

Both my husband and I have this very same Bible. It's actually a really good Bible. We both love this edition. As conservatives, it surprises people when they find out that this is one of our go to Bibles for reading and studying (and one of my husbands teaching Bibles).

I just got the preachers Bible and it’s hard to explain how nice this Bible really is. The print is excellent! So much so that it doesn’t even seem like a Bible.

Wow sister, you got some great deals on both of those and yes, those are awesome Bible for sure I just bought the handy size turquoise and iron goat skin, but I do wish Church Bible Publishers would put out the handy size and top grain cowhide for sternness and durability and a little abuse potential

Great Bible, just hate that the people are depicted as white. It doesn’t add up to the people that actually lived and live in those areas.
