In today's video, we do all the work required to get these doors ready for paint. We remove them and strip 90% of items from them to get them ready for paint, including all exterior or thru-hole items. Note that not all items were removed since it was not absolutely necessary.
We also clean, test, and regrease the regulators with a bit more understanding of how they work! Now these windows are going to move quickly and reliably!

Putting together the window regulators on my N54 swapped E46 M3 will be last thing I do! I'm dreading it so much especially since I'm not the one who took them off and I've never done one period. This helps so much, thanks again Frank!

Very nice restoration Frank. I did this to my former e30 325i regulators and the motor grease was way worse after 'only' 17 years. Maybe climate-related? Or the motor grease has been changed once already? Dutch regards and have a great weekend, Nico.

My key insert's in right lock but can't turn, left side & truck works. Guessing right key lock tumblers are misaligned?

That's right. you need to open the door panel and get in there to re-clock the tumbler
