I was interested in buying this, but ya it did not sit well with me signed " your heavenly Father. " I came to find a review that showed the devotionals and so grateful you showed this. I was on the fence and this helped make up my mind. Appreciate the time you took to make this review.

I've been looking at getting this Bible and felt drawn to it but I didn't pay attention to the "signed your heavenly father" that doesn't sit well with me. Are all the devotionals in it still good? If I decide to purchase it I may put something over that part.

I didn't really have a problem with the devotional content per se. (other then the signed your heavenly father part). That being said...I'm not into devotionals really. A lot of times they seem to get a lot wrong or at least not totally correct. But that's just my opinion. I really love the bible though. It's so pretty and the layout is great. if your a note taker or artist...it's a fantastic choice. IMO. (maybe just kinda ignore the devo's if they're not for you)

I am going to probably highlight over that part as well. It didn't sit well with me, putting words in Bible, or LORD'S MOUTH. I don't know why people do that. The cover of the Bible is pretty. I like white backgrounds and blue flowers are nice.

@@ClaimingChristianity that's what I do. I ignore some things in some devotionals and if it's a study Bible and it's incorrect, I ignore that too. Since I love Theology and study often. I'm a Baptist.

Are the pages a little thicker than typical Bible paper?

It is. But I’m just not a huge fan of that. It can be misguiding. I’m sure it’s don’t with nothing but the best of intentions…but it just sits funny for me.

Same. I won’t read ‘Jesus calling’ for the same reason. I find it the height of idolatry and pride to sign something from Jesus. It’s so not appropriate.
