@@sidannial4161 they purposely did this to make a controversy and gain popularity. It also had lyrics in the song that said “Calm down, this is just a teaser”. It’s obvious that they know the music sucks but for me it bops cuz it has grown on me lol

Based from how this was recieved i feel like JYPE really was hoping for this polarized response. Maybe a shock and awe strategy? Shock them with the first release then now that people have their eyes on them leave them in Awe with the next one? Just a thought.

@@supersucks I think its more likely JYP was trying to copy the “experimental” sound that has been done successfully by SM groups many times, but failed miserably and ended up making one of the worst kpop songs ever but still released it thinking it would gain popularity because that kind of sound made aespa so successful. I dont see why JYP would intentionally waste so much money on a debut for shock value just to have the song chart horribly like it did lol

The lyrics made it seem crazy but I highly recommend watching itsANDYandJAS reaction analysis. They literally made me understood what the song is about and how it was creatively done. You’d be surprised how amazing it is.

Saw the trailer and was genuinely looking forward to hearing these girls. Got excited when I heard the Purge music at the beginning but was completely deflated when I heard that incoherent sound that came out of that very beautiful blonde girl’s mouth which I guess was meant to be rap. I tried listening again if she was rapping in Korean or English. It just swirled downward for me from then. What a waste of opportunity to wow people.
nmixx is a type of girlgroup that has 2 or more concept in one song thats why MIX AND N is for UNKNOWN because there's no specific like rapper main vocal like that
JYP will have to pay more attention to itzy because nmixx arrived with great potential and I would like to see the company working more on the vocals of the itzy girls. I love itzy but unfortunately the group doesn't have great vocalists

Honestly when i first listened to it which was a leak i thought no way it cant be real then i watched the mv and i was surprised i didnt know what to think but now watching it for the second time on your channel it somewhat grew on me
Just read the lyrics... Their MV on the lyrics said it was just a teaser that is why JYP make it like a messy, on the lyrics it said it was all fake, you need to calm down, watch we are coming soon.
I was starting to stan this group but when I saw the debut song, I am so frustrated that they do not have the originality of storyline and concept to be delivered. As a multi stan of SKZ and ATEEZ, I would just let this girl group pass-by. Poor Lily M, I really like this girl, she should’ve debuted with ITZY.

I have the impression that jyp wanted to try a new concept for nmixx, but it wasn't executed very well. the music itself isn't bad, but the melody changes don't intertwine and bring this feeling of mess and confusion. The issue with this comeback is very complicated, because the girls are great but the MV seems to have many parts similar to several other Kpop MVs, people are talking a lot about Ateez because it's the most evident (I swear I noticed about 5 scenes that is identical to other Ateez MVs), but there are several others that if you look at it, you can't even tell that they are different MVs. The b-side is way better than the title, and I hope they see that they screwed up on their debut and bring a worthy comeback, because they are so talented. Kisses from Brazil. 💋💋👏👏😍

ah yes aespafication - the process by which a song that didn't seem all that juicy at the first listen suddenly becomes an addictive song that you will now forever enjoy. NMIXX's producers knew what they were doing
I agree. People have to be lying when they say they actually like this song. It's legit the worst K-Pop song I have ever listened to and it made such a bad impression. The visuals and vocals to me aren't even that good, like at all.

I guess this group just isn’t for me I could honestly barely get through the song. I love ITZY and TWICE and JYP but this song was just bad in my opinion like a wanna be worse version of an aespa song. The girls seem really talented and I by no means don’t wish that they are successful just didn’t vibe with this song :(

They all have good vocals yet JYPE is going to waste it in these poor written rap lines that aren’t even good. I’m sorry, people criticise this debut because it’s just purely bad. It’s not good at all. The haewon’s bridge part is the only part I like and the others are horrible. Straight up horrible. Music video feels like there was no sort of direction of where they’re trying to lead to with their concept. Overall, it’s such a messy debut with all the leaked that’s been happening before their debut. They are not even eligible for kbs broadcasting because of the “coke” part. Poor execution, poor debut. I feel sorry for these girls, they worked really hard for it.
