Pour la meilleure version est l'adaptation de Rosella Higtower en Décembre 83 , ce pdd avec N Pontois reste pour moi insurpassable , les Décors les costumes avec R Higtower aussi , immense soirée où les spectateurs ne se levaient plus pour partir , rappels Interminables je n'étais pas le seul à apprécier cette féerie avec la première Star mondiale de cette époque ( Nathalia Bessmertnova son homologue russe aussi grande Star des années 70-80 ) .

Il faudrait pouvoir les revoir , hélas en 1975 le numérique n'existait pas ; tous les danseurs avant 1980 sont condamnés à l'oubli faute de pouvoir les revoir sur internet a l 'exception de quelques rares films tournés en argentique ; contrairement à ce que l'on peut penser toutes les emissions de télévisions avant 1980 ont disparues sur INA ouvert au public mais concernant la danse 3ou 4 ballets pas p,us . Ce qui fait que la nouvelle génération ne verront jamais les grandes Stars d'avant 19i0 . Les russes par contre ont beaucoup filme leurs danseurs et on peut revoir Vassiliev Bessmertnova Semenyaka Mezentzeva et d'autres, pratiquement rien n'a été fait pour honorer le ballet de l'opéra de Paris

La Sylphide of Pierre lacotte is on RU-vid why this ballet is not ? Also " Coppelia "of Roland Petit with Karein Kain and Patrick Dupont version R Petit Is a movie for TV , all Russians movies are on RU-vid ( Vassiliev-Maximova casse noisette 1970" is on RU-vid ) , why the French are not on RU-vid and Russians are on Y T ? Before 1980 we known very well Russians and not French , there are many videos of Nathalia Bessmertnova-Bolchoi and some of Noella Pontois why this fact ? we are in France and there are mostly Russian videos !
Denys was a maturing principle when I was lucky enough to be a member of the American dancers chosen to spend the summer in Estoril taking classes, rehearsing and performing with select, magnificent European ballet principles and soloists. The first time I ever saw the Carmen Pas de deux performed, with Roland Petit's provocative and unexpectedly exciting choreography, by the prima ballerina Elisabetta Terrabust and, principle dancer, Denys Ganio. I was 18, and began studying ballet at 4 but for the first time, saw behind the curtain, if you will, the technical,choreographic and artistic brilliance that far surpassed the training, from the best, we'd received in an ongoing basis in the US. That's saying quite a bit. My teacher's students were sought after and Anna Marie and David Holmes hand picked us all. Still, when I returned home to study under Fernando Schaffenburg of Ballet Russe de Monte Carlo, my training became much more demanding & sophisticated and I felt like a bird that had finally learned to fly. Don't you just love finding truly great ballet online? I can get my fix when my soul is starved. Best of all, I don't have to pay to watch mediocre ballet.....which drives me nuts!
Beautiful dancing and dancers. Pontois is classical incarnate. But the poor corps dancers. Those tutus look like Christian Lacroix 1980s insanity. All they need is big hairspray teased hair.
Замечательно,но ,хореография Р.Нуреева и его исполнение с партнёршей насыщеннее, интереснее ,соответствует в тонкостях музыке,глаз не оторвать,здесь этого нет, а концовка вообще никуда не годится.
